First thing is that there is a need to reduce the number of Major Tournaments so that they stay as the prime objectives of the teams. Too many major tournaments dampens their values I reckon.

Yes so no need to consider World Series as a MAJOR TOURNAMENT

T20 Boom, CWC and T20 LOC. Three are fine..

We can introduce WORLD TEST CHAMPIONSHIP
Teams will gain points based on Test performances in series
Team with the most TEST POINTS after 6 months wins the WORLD TEST CHAMPIONSHIP

World Series won't take place again.
We will only have T20 Boom and CWC as the two major tournaments.

Yes the Test Championships will be based on the test rankings.
But rankings will be refreshed after 6 months. Agree?

And in the 6th month there will be a final series of matches between teams to decide the winner..

But still there is no need of the World Series.
and yea the T20 Loc will be considered as a quadrilateral tournament just like any tours

No Not at all.
let us follow the same rules as ICC.
The team at the end of 6 months ( at the start of CWC) leading in the Test Rankings will be considered as the winner .
But there won't be any winner or best of 3 .
Lets keep things as real as they are

Just like ICC announces all the upcoming fixtures upto the next 2-3 years,
let us chalk up the upcoming fixtures for the whole of this year and make it public so that teams have a better idea of how to shape up their team.

The major tournaments occurrence wont be affected by the FTP
It's the tours and the others that will get varied over the FTPs

LOC will just be a small tournament. So other tours will continue along with it.
Let the 4 top teams play in it. No need of qualifiers or anything.

Let's keep it as simple as possible.

Another thing that we will do to give that realistic feel to the scheduling is that we won't keep the tours on a monthly basis.
A tour can start in the middle of month and end in the middle of another one.
There will be nothing like it has to start on 1st and end on 30th or so
