1.He has captained in 94 tests , so 6 more tests as captain will lead to 100 tests as captain and surely NO ONE will ever reach till here just like no one will ever reach bradmans 99.94 and pontings 109 test victories (till today and possibly more) as a player .

2. Smith set to surpass Ponting and become the most successful test captain in terms of wins.
ponting has 48 wins in 74-75 matches, smith has some 42-43 test victories to his name as a captain
