The CWSim Stadiums and pitches
First topic message reminder :
CWSim™
In CWSim, the available pitch conditions are :
-Dry
-Dusty
-Green
-Wet
-Damp
-Hard
-Normal
Each pitch type affects the game in its own way.
You all must be knowing which pitch types are batting friendly and which ones are bowling friendly.
It works in the same way in CWSim.
Now, there is a new feature in CWSim named Stadium Type.
The available stadium types are :
Open Ground
Normal (w/ Stands)
Normal (W/ Grass Banks)
Now these stadium types too are going to influence the games depending on the number of overs bowled and the weather conditions which I shall tell about in a while.
In CWSim, there are option of Day or Day/Night matches.
Now accordingly you get a set of weather conditions,
For Day Matches, ( 6:00 PM Match ), the available weather conditions are :
--hot/humid
--sunny
--Cloudy/cool
--rainy
Again each of these will affect the player fatigue level + pitch conditions.
For Night matches, there are no weather conditions involved.
How the weather conditions will be decided ?
The weather conditions are going to be decided based on the real weather conditions of the place where the stadium is located.
From FTP - IV, it is necessary that teams chose a stadium which exists in reality.
So the location of that stadium will be taken into consideration and accordingly, the weather conditions will be set while match simulation.
Another two features that we will see in our own cricket simulator are "End-over Engine" and "SIS"(Situation Indentification System ).
End-over Engine will make sure batsman attack in those last few overs and not just play out them.
What SIS does is that the batsman will always play according to the situation and not like in PCCS where team needed 60 of last 10 and batsman was very defensive.
In this Sim, players will play to win !
The CWSim will have an inbuilt-stats system.
Which means Deep can change his profile name now and he no more will have to pull his hairs off and do the stats work.
Every thing will be managed by the sim at a click.
Simulate the match -> if you feel its an official match, click save to stats -> It's done !
The stats system will feature each and every detail regarding the player expect his current GF's name ;)
