Afridi Back To Karachi:
Shahid Afridi was
representing Hampshire in Friends Life T20 and was performing really
well. But as reported , Afridi's Father just has been admitted to
hospital, who is fighting for life and death, Some news say he has died
by heart attack but its unclear. To see his father Afridi Left England
and has reached Dubai. Tonight Afridi will reach Karachi and most
probably he will miss Hampshire's remaining matches. He has requested
every one to pray for his father though.

Brisbane Heat sign Brendon McCullum:
Brisbane Heat have announced New Zealand wicketkeeper batsman Brendon McCullum as their first international signing for the inaugural season of the Big Bash League."I can't wait to see him play for us,'' Darren Lehmann, Heat's coach, said. "He goes from the 'get go', and if he comes off for you, he can set up a game very quickly. To have a guy of that ability, who is world class, in your side, will help our younger players learn and inspire them to greater heights.

South Africa win despite Bell-Drummond 86:
South Africa Under-19 189 for 6 (de Kock 40, Verster 28*, Knight 3-27) beat England Under-19 187 for 7 (Bell-Drummond 86, Subrayen 3-32) by four wickets (D/L method)
South Africa Under-19 opened their tour of England with a tense four-wicket win over England Under-19 in a rain-affected match at Edgbaston. Daniel Bell-Drummond's classy 86 carried England to a competitive 187 for 7 in 31 overs, but South Africa got ahead of the rate thanks to bruising knocks from opener Quinton de Kock and James Price. The hosts' spinners, led by the impressive Tom Knight, appeared to tilt the match in England's favour as panic set in towards the end of South Africa's chase, but Regardt Verster and Calvin Savage's 37-run partnership saw their side home with an over to spare.

Re: ICC CRICKET WEEKLY
Lets Have A View Over Test Cricket Since The Start:
The first ever international cricket game was between the USA and Canada in 1844. The match was played at the grounds of the St George's Cricket Club in New York.
In 1859, a team of leading English professionals set off to North America on the first-ever overseas tour and, in 1862, the first English team toured Australia.
Between May and October 1868, a team of Australian Aborigines toured England in what was the first Australian cricket team to travel overseas.
In 1877, an England touring team in Australia played two matches against full Australian XIs that are now regarded as the inaugural Test matches. The following year, the Australians toured England for the first time and were a spectacular success. No Tests were played on that tour but more soon followed and, at The Oval in 1882, arguably the most famous match of all time gave rise to The Ashes. South Africa became the third Test nation in 1889.
A Test match to celebrate 100 years of Test cricket was held in Melbourne from 12 to 17 March 1977. Australia won this match by 45 runs, the same margin as the first Test match in 1877, which the 1977 match was commemorating.
The game also underwent a fundamental change of organisation with the formation for the first time of county clubs. All the modern county clubs, starting with Sussex in 1839, were founded during the 19th century.
A cricket match at Darnall, Sheffield in the 1820s.
