Johnson Wont Play In Big Bash Tournament:

Mitchell Johnson has boldly turned his back on the Twenty20 Big Bash League in order to
keep himself fit for one of Australia's most taxing Test summers. Having
fielded an offer from the Perth Scorchers, Johnson decided it would do
him little good to try to squeeze T20 appearances in between home Test
series against New Zealand and India, which follow winter and spring
tours to Sri Lanka and South Africa. At 29, Johnson is conserving his resources to concentrate on
international cricket. It is a sound decision given that he is still to
harness the consistency befitting an Australian spearhead - one of the
chief tasks confronting the new bowling coach Craig McDermott will be to
help Johnson do so. Johnson also indicated a desire to go back to grade
cricket when he has the chance, the sort of attitude in short supply
among many Australian first-class cricketers."At the moment I've decided not to sign with any of the Twenty20 sides,"
Johnson told reporters in Brisbane at Australia's training camp. "The
Scorchers approached me and at the moment I'm just happy to focus on the
summer coming up.

Champions Outclass Titans:
SportsCenter - Page 4 GU5bN
The Champions were on a task to face Titans. The winner had a guaranteed 4th position. Titans sending Shakib Early never worked as he got out for 2. Mahela and Bravo got things moving slowly but at 47 runs after bravo got out for 30 Titans collapsed. THey got all out for 94, Mendis taking 5 wickets.
SportsCenter - Page 4 Ajantha-Mendis-001
In reply Champions just went to fast. Gilchrist scored 45 runs and he got out when the score was 52. Strauss remained not out for 14 and Ross Taylor 29 of 17 balls helped Champions win within 11 Overs.

Two More Records Broken:
In the match between Titans and Champions 2 records were broken and 1 was equalized. Ajantha Mendis 5-17 equalized the record of best bowling figures of his team mate Jacques Kallis 5-17. Titans 94 was the lowest total in CricSim history , breaking their own record of the lowest total 111. Champions 11.4 Overs win is the fastest victory with most balls to spare overtaking the Cosmos record of 13.1 Overs Most Probably.

Arsene Wenger irked by 'disrespectful' comments from Xavi:
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has branded Barcelona midfielder Xavi "disrespectful" for stating that Cesc Fabregas wants to leave the Gunners.Xavi had told the Barcelona website that Fabregas was "suffering" because he wanted to move to the Catalan club."I believe a mutual respect between the clubs should stop this kind of comment," Wenger said."If it's true then it's disrespectful and it's not the first time that Xavi has been disrespectful to Arsenal."Xavi, 31, had earlier stated that Fabregas wanted Arsenal "to let him leave".
