CWC June 2012 | Hurricanes vs Dynamos | Group B Match 3 | 8th June 2012

After beating the mighty Cosmos in the first game of the tournament, The Hurricanes are pumped up and they strongly feel that this is their best squad in a long long time. They way they fought the other day to defend a small total of 211 against The Cosmos is worth mentioning.
Ryan Tendoeschate : 75(114)
Their batting has been poor once again and especially against the pace. Ryan Tendoeschate has been their goto man with the bat. He played some sublime shots in his innings of 75 of 114 balls against The Cosmos. Their major concern as of now is their out of form batsman Sourav. He has not been in thick of runs over the past few weeks and team will definitely want him to fire if they wish to go to the knock out stage of the tournament.
Morne Morkel : 34/2(10 overs)
Their bowling was brilliant the other day. Pace and accuray from Brett Lee and Morne Morkel to start with and then the miserly and deceptive spin pair of Fahad and Parth was too hot for The Cosmos to handle. Parth finished with figures of ( 10 overs - 25/3) which is as good as its gets. Their 5th bowler is a slight worrying factor.
If the Hurricanes bullied the Cosmos with the bowl, The Dynamos did the same with the bat the other day vs The Shadows. They batted with blitz and aggression and made sure they earned a healthy NRR which will matter a lot when we reach the fag end of the group stage.
Hashim Amla: 58(31)
Rish and Amla at the opener's slot were destructive as well as cautious to make sure the foundation is laid for the batsmen to come out to play well. Middle order looked stronger with Ravi Gupta and Debroop roy coming good with the bat. They have the likes of Trott, Mhd. Yusuf and the destruvtive Shakib al Hasan in their lower order which makes their batting even more stronger.
Graeme Swann : 43/1(10 overs)
The bowling department is average which is predominantly been occupied by international cricketers and DJ Pai beign the lone F player there. They need to bowl well in the depth and avoid giving away easy runs at the death.
