CWC Match 1 : Group A: Superstars v Cosmos

Time : 8 PM IST
Venue : The Star Dome

The stage is all set for the biggest of all events to take place. The Cricket World Cup is finally a few hours ago and all teams are ready to give their best to win the trophy.

The Superstars face The Cosmos in the tournament opener and stakes are high in this opening game. Both teams will want to start on a high rather than play a catch up game later.

The Superstars have not had much practice going into this first game and the new recruits will try prove their worth if they get chance to play the first game.

The Team management has yet not decided the starting XI for the game.




The match promises to be a great one as the Superstars performed quite well in their first ever major tour reaching the super sixes with uppermost ease. The last time these two teams faced. It was in the first match of the T20 Boom Super-Six. Glenn Mcgrath was the hero of the match after he ran through the batting order of The Cosmos. The Superstars will be hoping for another similar show from him. But there are doubts of his inclusion in the first match as he has been found skipping the training session today due to some sort of injury on his knee. It is just a rumor though and nothing is official yet.




Now all we can wait is for the match to unfold at the Star Dome tomorrow at 8 PM IST and It will be a grand occasion undoubtedly.

Yeah,That was a tricky.Bringing Viresh early on attack rather than Broad.But he did his job well.Anyways thank you for joining us here as it is getting late now i would like to carry on remaining things.
