CWSim™ Second String Team details
First topic message reminder :
After seeing a lots of newbies entering the fray, it has been decided
that teams can now own its 2nd Team. ( For ex : Shadows A, Hurricanes
2nd XI,etc )
Before any series or tour, the official teams will have to announce their squad of 14 players ( excluding the F Players )
The players not selected for the main team ( including F Players ) are eligible to play for the 2nd team.
Other then them, each 2nd team will also have 12 other players belonging to the domestic circuit.
Each 2nd team F Player will have a set skill of 90 | 0 or 0 | 90.
There will be practice games + tournaments between the 2nd teams and will be managed by Deep Dey (PCCS).
Now a team has to chose from any 1 of the following 10 regions as it's team's base.
The team will be allowed to pick players from that particular region for the 2nd team.
The 10 regions are :
Region 1. Australia
Minimum BID : 2,000 FM
Region 2. England
Minimum BID : 2,000 FM
Region 3. New Zealand + West Indies + Sri Lanka
Minimum BID : 1,500 FM
Region 4. India ( North + South )
Minimum BID : 2,000 FM
Region 5. India ( East + West + Central )
Minimum BID : 2,000 FM
Region 6. Bangladesh + Pakistan
Minimum BID : 1,500 FM
Region 7. South Africa
Minimum BID : 1,500 FM
Region 8. Zimbabwe + Ireland + Netherlands
Minimum BID : 500 FM
Region 9. Afghanistan + Kenya + Canada
Minimum BID : 500 FM
Region 10. Other Nations
Minimum BID : 500 FM
Team Owner is requested to send me the region name along with the FM they want to bid for.
Team with highest bid gets the region.
Skill calculation :
Player Skills will be calculated in the
same way as it is in CWSim.
but in that we assume the following for calculation :
First Class Matches = Test Matches
One Dayers = ODI
T20 = T20I
The formats in which the player has more than 5 innings should only be taken into account.
Unlike CWSim, there is no deduction in skills on the basis of number of innings played.
Example :
In
CWSim, a player with less than 50 innings gets a decrement of 10 from
his total skills and with innings between 50 and 100 gets a decrement of
5 from his total skills.
The same is not applicable in the 2nd teams.
This means that the number of innings played has no effect in the 2nd team.
England :
Cosmos - 67,000
Australia :
Hurricanes - 45,000
South Africa :
Thunderbolts - 8,000
India ( East + West + Central ) :
Dominators - 30,000
India(North-South) :
Cosmos - 45,000
Bangladesh + Pakistan :
Hawks - 12,000
New Zealand + West Indies + Sri Lanka :
Warriors - 9,000
Zimbabwe + Ireland + Netherlands + Afghanistan :
Hurricanes - 74000
CRITERIA :
1. The player must not have played in more than 100 international matches ( including ODIs,Tests,T20Is).
2. Player must have played at least 20 FC matches at domestic level.
3. The player must not be a retired dpmestic player.
4. The player must be an active domestic circuit player.
5. The player must not be part of any CWSim team.
Player Skills will be calculated in the same way as it is in CWSim.
But we assume the following for calculation :
First Class Matches = Test Matches
One Dayers = ODI
T20 = T20I
After the end of each month, a team will be allowed to pick players from it's 2nd team and put it in it's first team if there are vacancies. The player must though fulfill the following requirements :
During skill calculation, only those formats will be taken into consideration in which the player has more than 5 matches.
No increments for a player who is taken into the team that month.
There will skill refreshment of each and every player of the 2nd team at the same time of the main team skill refreshment.
Now if a player in the 2nd team then has more then the limit of 100 international matches to his name, he will still be allowed to play in the 2nd team.
After the refreshment, the teams will be allowed to swap players into the 2nd team again.
