lol yeah
i know this
thats why i say this is UNFAIR
Eng get lots of REST where as Ind doesnt
LOL WHY UNFAIR
ITS A RELIGIOUS MATTER, YOU CANNOT SAY NO
INDIA IS NOT A CHRISTIAN COUNTRY LIKE AUSTRALIA OR SOUTH AFRICA, ELSE ENGLAND WOULD HAVE PLAYED IN THIS PERIOD.
So ? they should give REST ?
Isnt Indians are Christians ?
they dont celebrate or what ?
INDIANS DO NOT CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS AS THE WAY ENGLAND OR AUSTRALIAN OR SOUTH AFRICAN DO.
COME ON SUPPOSE YOU GO TO AMERICA DURING DIWALI, WILL YOU ENJOY DIWALI THE WAY YOU ENJOY IN INDIA WITH YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
but Indians wont take REST even if its Diwali nah

Despite being nearly 34, Zulfiqar Babar continues to work for an opportunity at international level
It has been 65 years since any one walked into the national side from Okara, a small town southwest of Lahore. The 85-year-old Israr Ali, who played in Pakistan's first Test in 1952, was the last. His international career was short and frustrating but, six decades later, left-arm spinner Zulfiqar Babar could be set to emulate Israr.
With 62 wickets, Babar is the leading bowler in the President's Trophy charts ahead of the final. He will turn to 34 on December 10, the same day the selectors will be finalising the Pakistan squad for their ODI and T20I series against India.
"Life in a small town isn't really intimidating," Babar told ESPNcricinfo. "Obviously facilities here aren't that good, as in bigger cities, but ultimately it's the ability and performance that matter. I don't need to depend on bigger cities to be seen or heard. I sit here, with plenty of experience under my belt, having taken the most number of wickets and looking for an opportunity for the national team."
"I remember when Mohsin Khan was the chief selector, he had been in touch with me and talked about my future and opportunities but now it has been quite a while since any selectors came down to me to talk. Now I think the only option left is to perform heavily."
"I started playing cricket thinking to play for my country and pursing the goal I have taken a lot of time to reach the big stage. Everyone does something for their livelihood and I have chosen cricket but still I have no regrets and am optimistic for a better future."

Cricket fans from across the border are set to flock to Indian cities. At least 500 Pakistanis are expected to travel to each of the venues for the 3 ODI and 2 T20I to be played between the traditional foes in December-January.
A four-member Pakistani recce team, currently in India to inspect the facilities and security at these venues, has requested the (BCCI) to reserve at least 500 tickets at every centre for Pakistani fans. Besides, the PCB has sought 50 VIP tickets.
The request, of course, is different for Delhi, which will host the final ODI on January 6, 2013. The PCB wants 1,000 tickets for its fans in the national capital and 100 VVIP tickets.

Re: Thread for Pakistan Tour of India, 2012/13 (1)
Pakistan chief selector Iqbal Qasim has said that Shahid Afridi is not pick for India Tour.
"India tours have always been tough ones," Qasim said in Lahore. "We are wary about India being a very strong host and we want to pick a combination very carefully. Expect no sweeping changes. We need to strengthen the combination with experience but there is always room for an outstanding young talent.
"Nobody, not even Afridi, gets an automatic place in the side at the moment. Afridi is a fine player and has performed well in past, but the upcoming [domestic] Twenty20 cup is the opportunity for him to perform and we will watch him. I am optimistic about him, as he has done a lot in past and still has a lot of cricket left in him."

Islamabad Leopards’ captain Umar Gul was fined his entire match-fee – Rs 4,000 – for ball-tampering in his side’s National Twenty20 Cup match against Quetta Bears at the Gaddafi Stadium yesterday.
Gul was seen with the ball close to his mouth during the ninth over and the matter was brought to the notice of the match referee Khateeb Rizwan who charged him under the level-II offence for tampering with the ball. Gul challenged the charge, stating that he was trying to cut off a leading thread off the seam but signed the charge notice and accepted the punishment.

Injuries to Raza Hasan and Asad Shafiq
Raza Hasan, the Pakistan left-arm spinner, injured his disc in his spine and has been ruled out of the limited-overs tour of India. He suffered the injury while bowling against Quetta Bears in a Faysal Bank Twenty20 Cup game at Lahore City Cricket Association Ground on Sunday.
THATS A PAINFUL INJURY, I HAVE SUFFERED MYSELF
Asad Shafiq, the Pakistan middle-order batsman, has sustained a finger injury and is doubtful for the India series. He injured himself while playing for Karachi Dolphins against Bahawalpur Stags at the Bagh-e-Jinnah in Lahore.
