u got a full blown spinal disc herniation...seems like i cracked ur case on the very first day but couldnt say it prayin tht am wrong.. but its turns out to be the opposite..

well in this case always the L4-5 is affected in all cases in the lumbar region n pain is excrutiating...

pls maintain the traction given to u n most important is to see tht the weight ratio is maintain at all times...i myself has treated such a case durin my internship

the surgery is indeed expensive n also laborious...but i think medication is rite nw the better way to strt of the treatment as surgery is the last resort if all fails..

the most concernin thing in ur case is compression of the nerve n the buddin sac causin it...
man seriously ur house doc shld hv advised an xray long back...this is extremely bad news for me...its like bein in this site for such a long time n bein a doctor i failed to recognise ur problm...

rest is the only option for u....n the medication tht they give is the priotity treatment for u...
do pls keep me inform n if u need any help wat so ever pls feel free to contact me....

as a doctor i can only hope tht ur current regime will be suffice enough to rectify this problm...but apart frm prayin i cannot give anythg else...

The traction part is over now.It was given in the hospital.
They gave me heat therapy and electric shock therapy for 5 days.

epidural cortisone injection...i think tht might be helpful but not sure...

but this treatment duration is long n it takes its own course so patience is very much necessary...remember u hv to cut down stress as it smtms plays an aggrevatin factor..try to be relaxed as much as u can...

Even my MRI report above is not full as I was not able sleep straight at that point of time, otherwise I don't know what else more could have come out

Most probably I won't be able to give my prelims as I can walk but cannot stand for duration. In trains, I cannot stand for 1 hr.

well ur mri report is almost complete ...only a sm aspects of the vertebra were left probably becoz u could move or stay straight n still for tht long...but the diagnosis is almost rched...so nothin to worry on tht occassion

wat is left is to complete the treatment which will take several weeks for sure as any related to the spine takes sm time...i dont want to scare u but want to give u a fair picture of the treatment...so as i told before patience is necessary..
the treatment has to be full n complete to avoid any complication in future as such things ar dangerous...

well deep i wont advice u to travel by train on ur exam day as its not at all a good idea...

movin ur body hr n thr is givin u less pain becoz the pressure on tht nerve is shiftin away hence the relief..

but a train journey is definitely a bad move...i would suggest u take another locomotive on the day of ur exm...its a request...

My college is St Xavier's Churgate.
I leave in Mira Road.

I can only travel by Trains as you know there is no direct route from Mira Road to churchgate.
Train is the only solution
