The team Thunderbolts have changed their ownership hands and now the new Cricket World team will be called "Targaryens" with CW Star Ashraf Chohan as captain.

American based investment group "AIG", the new owner of the Cricket World franchise "Thunderbolts", today unveiled the name and logo of its new team.

‘Targaryens’— the name and the logo(made by Parth Dedhia), which is depicted with three dragon heads in red and Black was unveiled by Targaryens CEO Vighnesh Nair along with team’s newly appointed captain Ashraf Chohan and fellow teammate Nishchal Pandey.


The event marks a quick end to the earlier franchise "Thunderbolts " which was scrapped due to unforeseeable circumstances

Former cricketers from the franchise, Inzamam-ul-haq and Neeraj Dagar, were present on the occasion.

The new would be retaining all the players in the earlier franchise. Nishchal said they were looking forward to getting some all rounders into the team a. Indian cricketer Ashraf Chohan, who is a cricketing legend, would be the captain of the new side, he added.

Vighnesh said by tomorrow they would be able to disclose the names of the sponsors. “We are talking to some of the prospective sponsors. We have our marketing strategies in place,” he told reporters after unveiling the name and logo.
