In my opinion, indian bowling attack was never feared in test cricket except for the spinners at turning tracks..we never looked like a threat to our opponents with our pacers..Except some rare occasions in which one quickie stands out...Not as a whole bowling unit though...We should become one now..Aqi Warrior wrote:Yeah indian bowling attacked will be feared again.Sri Ganesh SG wrote:That would be fantastic..Going with the current form of umeshAqi Warrior wrote:Imagine a fully fit and in-form Shami with Umesh Yadav.Sri Ganesh SG wrote:Very true..Aqi Warrior wrote:He's definitely filling the void left by Zaheer Khan.Sri Ganesh SG wrote:Umesh is pretty awesome..this is really a superb growth comparing to the woes he had in the past..Bowling wonders now..Impressive..

Williamson and smith will make some even bigger impacts in the longer formats..
Though williamson is my personal favorite,i will rate smith ahead of him in the shorter formats..
Desperately i wish williamson to break some big records..Currently he is world no.2 in tests

The Irfan-Zaheer-RP era, that was the time when indian bowlers where feared, then came balaji, nehra and agarkar :Sri Ganesh SG wrote:In my opinion, indian bowling attack was never feared in test cricket except for the spinners at turning tracks..we never looked like a threat to our opponents with our pacers..Except some rare occasions in which one quickie stands out...Not as a whole bowling unit though...We should become one now..Aqi Warrior wrote:Yeah indian bowling attacked will be feared again.Sri Ganesh SG wrote:That would be fantastic..Going with the current form of umeshAqi Warrior wrote:Imagine a fully fit and in-form Shami with Umesh Yadav.Sri Ganesh SG wrote:Very true..Aqi Warrior wrote:He's definitely filling the void left by Zaheer Khan.Sri Ganesh SG wrote:Umesh is pretty awesome..this is really a superb growth comparing to the woes he had in the past..Bowling wonders now..Impressive..

Problem is,that was a very short termed era..adding to that, irfan and rp got enough injury woes, even before this trio set a mark altogether...Longevity matters as well..Those 3 were fabulous...Aqi Warrior wrote:The Irfan-Zaheer-RP era, that was the time when indian bowlers where feared, then came balaji, nehra and agarkar :Sri Ganesh SG wrote:In my opinion, indian bowling attack was never feared in test cricket except for the spinners at turning tracks..we never looked like a threat to our opponents with our pacers..Except some rare occasions in which one quickie stands out...Not as a whole bowling unit though...We should become one now..Aqi Warrior wrote:Yeah indian bowling attacked will be feared again.Sri Ganesh SG wrote:That would be fantastic..Going with the current form of umeshAqi Warrior wrote:Imagine a fully fit and in-form Shami with Umesh Yadav.Sri Ganesh SG wrote:Very true..Aqi Warrior wrote:He's definitely filling the void left by Zaheer Khan.Sri Ganesh SG wrote:Umesh is pretty awesome..this is really a superb growth comparing to the woes he had in the past..Bowling wonders now..Impressive..

"then came" is a wrong term for agarkar..Agarkar was awesome till 2003 world cup..Nehra's injury ruined his career..nehra had potential to achieve big if not for the injury..
and agarkar,he is always a legend in my eyes..
