Dominators are most probably going to let Shikhar Dhawan make his debut tomorrow in this important clash. Arjun Ramesh failed to impress in the opening game and rumors are that he is under scanner for selection in the next one. Dhawan will love to grasp this opportunity and make it count. There are also news that Shane Watson is not fully fit for tomorrow's game as he pulled his calf muscle in the last match. Not to forget that he went for plenty in the match too.There are doubts over his selection too. It will be interesting to see who gets into the team if he is dropped tomorrow.



Hurricanes team owner Karthik Patyal is on ninth cloud after the impressive win in his debut match. This is what he had to say in the press conference when asked about breaking the defending score jinx : " I thought a bit differently , it was 1st game for us in tourney , it surely was a must win game for us in front of home on a pressure game runs on the board surely aids and also we backed our strength bowling ". That shows how confident the young manager is at present. But he is not that happy with the death bowling as he went on to add " good start for me with new franchisee , little bit of worries for us with death bowling but we surely will find  a bowler who will bowl at death ". So we might expect changes in the winning combination tomorrow.

Pitch details :


Action returns to Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium where we witnessed the opening game of the season. The pitch is expected to play the same as experts reckon. Lots of carry for the pacers on this green seaming track. Spinners like Dockrell might perform well once again if they keep the ball in the right areas like he did in the first game. Batsmen will once again find it hard to settle down on the track.

Projected score batting first : 140-150

The pitch is expected to ease up a bit in the second innings but just a little bit. So toss might again play a major role here. Hurricanes don't mind defending totals as we saw in the last game so that makes situation even more interesting.
