The First match of The Thunderbolts in the New Era. It was an easy battle for The Thunderbolts. They were the fovorites with no doubt in the match. Bolts looked a good and a well balanced side. Fans were eagerly waiting to watch their performence.

Before the start of the match experts told that "win the toss and bat first." but still Dynamos took a brave move which turned out to be a great decision for them. They made some more shocking decisions, some turned out to be good and some not.

There were some shocking decisions taken by the teams in their respective Line Up's. Bolts dropped Kallis whereas Dynamos made Philinder open the innings. Parth too was not in the Playing XI of Bolts and on the other side Dynamos didn't play Debroop.


The Toss was won by the Dynamos and Rishabh using his experience decided to field first. It was a great start for the Dynamos. Their bowlers bowled economically in the first few overs. They got Bolts openers out cheaply. Warner played a good cameo after that with Fahad but couldn't make it big. Fahad was still playing there, He was running out of partners. Wickets were falling at the other end. And at the end Thunderbolts managed to make a total of 144 which was not a par total looking at the pitch.

Dynamos needed 145 runs in 20 overs to win the match. Dynamos took a brave decision of sending Vernon Philinder opener with Rishabh Tandon. The green pitch was getting dryer as the time was passing. So the task wasn't a tough one for the Dynamos.

It was a one man show in the second inning. Rishabh Tandon was on fire. He just went out on hitting fours and fours and got them to a easy win. He smacked 91 runs in just 51 balls with 16 Fours. Dynamos defeated Bolts easily by 8 wickers with 19 balls still remaining. Rishabh was the Man of the Match for his incredible batting performence.

Bounty : 2,000 $

The Thunderbolts will kick themselves considering their powerful and well balanced team losing to a team which was considered as underdogs. They played Afridi ahead of Kallis and not playing Pujara and Gayle might have cost them the game. Although Fahad and Warner batted well, no one else played up to the mark.

The second match of The Thunderbolts in T20 Boom. They were facing The Dominators, one of the best team in CWSim. After being defeated badly in the first match, It was very important for them to win the match.

Bolts made many important changes in their Line Up. Chris Gayle was included in the Playing XI. Cheteshwar Pujara and Jonathan Trott were also included. Harbhajan was dropped and Mendis was playing in place of him. Shahid Afridi too was dropped and Jaques was included . Dilshan was also dropped after a his dissappointiing performence.

Once again The Thunderbolt lost the toss. Dominators decided to bat first. Steven Finn got Brendon McCullum out cheaply for a duck. Then Arjun Ramesh and Raminder Singh builded up a good partnership. Raminder and Arjun both were playing brilliantly with a decent Run Rate. Ajantha Mendis got both of them out. But Misbah Ul Haq and Adam Voges played briilliantly after that. Adam Voges was unstoppable. He made a brilliant 73 in just 34 balls. Whereas Misbah made well played 39. And they managed to put a superb total of 209.

The Thunderbolts needed 210 in 20 Overs. Cheteshwar Pujara and Chris Gayle were opening the Inning. No-one was able to score big. Everyone was acting like a maggi man.They collapsed very badly. Coming on the crease and going back to pavilion after 2 minutes. George Dockrell bowled brilliantly. He took 3 wickets. Sanjay too bowled superbly and finished off the things for the Bolts. As a result Dominators won the match easily by 119 runs.

The Thunderbolts never looked like a good team in whole match. It was seen that when Finn took a wicket of Brendon McCullum, Vighnesh was just standing at his place and didn't come to appreciate Finn. It seems like there are many fights going on in Bolts camp.

Vignesh is in under the eyes of the management. He bowled very poorly in both the matches. It looked like as he was doing it purposely. He was not at all giving his best. We normally see him very active on the field. But he was very inactive on the field in todays match.  So, the management have a doubt on him.

Michael Clarke's captaincy is in danger too. After losing two back to back matches very badly, the management have lost confidence in him. Fans can expect many surprising moves by the management before the next match. So, stay tunes with our official Media Partner - Thunder Chronicle.
