ONE OF THE OLDEST TEAMS IN CW HISTORY AND IF YOU HAVE TO SEARCH FOR THE TEAMS' HISTORY YOU HAVE TO GO DOWN TO THE VERY ROOT OF CRICKET WORLD.DOMINATORS HAVE BEEN THE MOST PROMINENET TEAM ALONG WITH COSMOS RIGHT FROM THE BEGINING.THEY HAVE PLAYED EXTREMELY WELL FOR THE PAST 3 YEARS AND THEY HAVE ALSO HAD DOWNS IN THESE 3 YEARS.THEY WERE CROWNED THE T20 BOOM CHAMPIONS FOR 2 TIMES AND THEY ARE THE ONLY TEAM TO DEFEND THEIR BOOM TROPHY.THEY HAVE HAD GREAT PLAYERS LIKE POLLOCK,SACHIN TENDULKAR,AKRAM,SANGAKKARA,GILCHRIST,JAYAWARDANE, IN THEIR TEAM.
THE TEAM HAD GONE UNDER SEVERAL CHANGES OVER HE PAST COUPLE OF YEARS.WHEN THE LEGENDARY NAQI KAZMI LEFT THE SITE,DOMINATORS WERE IN REAL DANGER OF LEAVING THE SITE,BUT THEN CAME THE YOUNG STAR OF DOMINATORS TO TAKE OVER THE OWNERSHIP FROM NAQI.SAI JAGAN ALSO LEFT AFTER NAQI'S LEAVING.ARJUN CARRIED DOMINATORS OVER HIS SHOULDERS ALONE OR 6MONTHS AND THEN CAME THE YOUNG TALENT SANJAY,WHO TOOK OVER HALF THE RESPONSIBILITY FROM ARJUN'S SHOULDERS AND HELPED THE TEAM TO WIN THE BOOM TROPHY FOR TWO CONSECUTIVE TIMES.THE ONLY COMMON PLAYER FOR DOMINATORS FOR LAST TWO YEARS IS ARJUN.DURING THI TIME NEW GUNS HAVE JOINED DOMINATORS AND SOME HAVE ALSO LEFT.RAMINDER SINGH,VIGNESH NAIR,NISCHAL,AKSHAY HEGDE,SAI JAGAN,DEEPAK ALL HAVE HELPED THE TEAM ENORMOUSLY WELL THROUGHOUT THE YEARS.
NOW COMING TO INTERNATIONAL PLAYERS,THE ONE NAME AT THE TOP IS SACHIN RAMESH TENDULKAR COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE GOD OF CRICKET.HE WAS THE RUN MACHINE FOR THE WORLD DOMINATORS ALONG WITH HIS PARTNER BRENDON MCCULLUM(BAZ).SACHIN TENDULKAR WAS THE LEADING RUNSCORER IN T20S AND TESTS AND BAZ WAS 2ND LEADING RUN SCORER.
TALKING ABOUT BOWLING,THE TEAM WAS KNOWN FOR ITS SPINNERS.NAMELY HARBHAJAN AND AJMAL WHO TOOK ON THE OPPOSITION WITH GREAT PLEASURE AND WERE AMONGST THE TOP WICKET TAKERS IN T20S.AND HARBHAJAN SINGH HAS PROVEN DEADLY IN TEST MATCHES WITH HIS DOOSRAS.THE PACE BOWLING WAS LEAD BY MITCHELL JOHNSON AND CLINT MCKAY AND MCKAY PROVED DEADLIER THAN JOHNSON IN THE DEATH OVERS.
DOMINATORS WERE NOT A GOOD ODI SIDE AFTER THE DEAPRTURE OF NAQI AND SOME PLAYERS.THEY STRUGGLED ALOT IN ODI FORMAT AND HAS A VERY POOR WIN%.EVEN WITHT HE LIKES OF SRT AND BAZ,THEY WERE UNABLE TO GO PAST 200 RUNS MARGIN IN ODIS.THE FORM OF PLAYERS IN THIS FORMAT WAS THE MAJOR PROBLEM.EVEN BOWLERS COULDNOT GET WICKETS.
