First topic message reminder :
Devils United
After two back to back wins in their first two ODs,their confidence was on the seventh heaven but a 49 run loss against the Knights where we saw a Baz special,they are back to the basics. A few tough training sessions and gruelling discussions in their dressing room,they are looking to thrash their opponents to give the home ground a lot to cheer about.This,being their first ever T20 match,it would be interesting to see their strategy on a pitch which has traditionally never suited the batsmen. The spinners though,can wreck havoc if they bowl at the right places. Ab de Villiers was expected to lead the team but his own performance with the bat hasnt been nice so far with just one 50 and two 1-digit scores to show. It will be interesting to see who leads considering the circumstances. Yuvraj has been at the bench so far in the ODs but given his aggresive batting,he is a surety for them in this format. Akmal,Clarke and Dilshan will be expected to be the big men again. If Dilshan clicks,there wont be any need for anyone else though. About the bowling department,one will be eager to see how they come back after the thrashing in the previous OD. On a spin paradise, Raminder Singh,Bhajji,Dockrell and Yuvraj can turn the tables upside down but it would be very interesting to see if they gamble with 4 spinners with Cusack and Venky a surety in the XI.
The Immortals
A team to beat,this season. On paper,they look simply invincibles but having suffered a loss against the same opponents in the Champions Cup,revenge will be the priority for this team with lots of moral values. This is their first T20 as well and they will give their 1000% to win this game. With the CW superstar Sourav Chakraborty playing for them,the Devils would know they have a tough job at hand. Shane Watson and Shahid Afridi will be the key but add the experience of Budhaditya,KP and Amla,they really justify their name!(pun) Swann and Hafeez will relish the spin-aiding pitch at the Eden while their pacers Vernon Philander and Viresh would look to destroy the top-order of the Devils especially the dangerous Dilshan early in the innings.

Considering the close match these 2 had in their OD encounter,it would truly be value-for-money for the spectators!Get ready for some boom boom and bang bang!
