Devils United start camp

Kolkata,India: Devils United,the CWSim_newEra team that has promised to spread terror among it's opponents started their 3 day practice session here on Wednesday.
Most of the players checked into the club headquarters on Tuesday with the only exception of Alex Cusack who is reported to join on Saturday after his personal commitments..


Joe Root and Michael Clarke seemed to have brushed aside the ASHES RIVALRY and one saw them gel well together..

The first session saw Coach Rahul Dravid forcing the players through a rigorous warm-up followed up by a general fielding session  with Trevor Penny,the newly appointed fielding coach. After the lunch,the bowlers helped themselves to some net practice while Dravid was seen trying to fine-tune the technique of certain young batsmen.The last session was a complete batting nets practice,first with throwdowns,then with the local bowlers and finally the regular team bowlers..

A reporter got Rahul Dravid to speak a bit about his first meet-up and impression with the boys-

Rahul Dravid : Impressed! I got to say.. Such a wonderful young bunch of guys.. Fielding delighted me,bowlers gave me goosebumps and batsmen were upto the task.As for the captaincy part,I can only say it would be any experienced player.Akmal and Abd will be having a wk session tomorrow to decide our first choice keeper.We are keeping a press-conference on 31st.All other queries to be answered there.Thank you.

Seems a confident unit,isnt it?Lets wait to see if it converts into good on-field performances.
