Kamla Persad-Bissessar the prime minister of Trinidad and Tobago has expressed great joy after the team won against the English side in the practice game. She is a fond follower of the game and was very happy after the win.
This is what she had to say.
" This is a great time for WI and it's people. Saad led to the team to a great win in the practice game. Hope he can carry on with the good work in the official matches too.
The whole nation will be glued to their TV sets this 2nd July when they take on the Indian side. Will they be able to carry on with this impressive start or will this fade away once the main tournament gets underway ?
