Pepsi T20 Boom - Match No. 4: Thunder Strikers vs World Dominators - April 4, 2013 (Thread 2)
First topic message reminder :
Both
teams are back in action after losing their T20 tour. On one side, we
have Defending Champions Dominators who have lost against Thunderbolts
by 2-1 while on the other side we have Hosts Thunder Strikers who lost
against Hurricanes by 2-1. Both teams are really strong in this format
and both teams will try their best to start their T20 Boom campaign with
a win. It will be interesting to see whether hosts will win this or
Defending Champions will bring sadness for home fans.
Thunder
Strikers are back in action after losing against Hurricanes. Their
batting looks impressive with likes of Trott, Amla and Dhoni who will
return after a 2 match ban. Main problem which they our facing is that
they are unable to start well. They always lose their first wicket very
quickly which creates pressure on middle order. It will be interesting
to see who will open for them so that they can start off pretty well.
They
will be slightly disappointed with their bowlers as they are not able
to take some crucial wickets and also they are not economical. Their
main bowlers are struggling to bowl at right paths. Sai will be the
player to watch out for who is looking quite impressive with the ball.
He can definitely create some pressure but it will be interesting how
these bowlers will bowl against players like McCullum and Tendulkar.
Defending
Champions Dominators will start T20 Boom after losing the T20 Series
against Thunderbolts. Their batting looks very deadly with players like
McCullum, Chandimal, Sangakkara, Hafeez and Sachin Tendulkar. They can
put a huge total especially on this pitch which helps batsmen more. It
will be very interesting to see what will be their mindset after losing
the T20 Series.
Dominators
are highly disappointed with their bowling performances because of
which they lost the series. Their batsmen always do their job but their
bowlers never support them. Their pacers like Johnson and Mckay are not
economical at all which is a big problem for them. Bowlers like
Harbhajan, Ajmal and Vignesh will be the players to watch out for.
