Pepsi T20 Boom - Match No. 3: Thunderbolts vs Hurricanes - April 3, 2013
First topic message reminder :
Both of these teams have a poor record in T20 but they are coming back in action after defeating their mighty opponents in a T20 tour. On one side, we have Hurricanes who have defeated Thunder Strikers by 2-1 while on the other side we have Thunderbolts who have defeated T20 Champions World Dominators by 2-1. Both teams are looking better and both teams will try their best to start their T20 Boom campaign with a win.
Thunderbolts are looking in good form after defeating the Champions in a T20 Series and all credit goes to their batsmen who fought brilliantly. Every batsman has played his role for the side and they would love to play like this against Hurricanes as well. If players like Bravo, Dilshan and Captain Umar Akmal start hitting, then they will definitely create some problems for the Hurricanes.
Their bowling was not that impressive against Dominators as their bowlers were leaking runs. Now they will try their best to work on this so that they can win this match and start their journey with a win. A big worry for them is their main pacers are not economical especially Zaheer Khan. It will be interesting to see what changes they will do in their bowling lineup so that they dont lose the match because of their bowlers.
Hurricanes are all set for some fireworks as they return after defeating the Mighty Thunder Strikers by 2-1. Their batting lineup is very dangerous with likes of Gayle, Kevin Pietersen, Rohit Sharma and Phil Hughes who was the Man of the Series against TS. All batsmen are playing brilliantly with a great Strike Rate. Even on a green pitch, these guys were firing and they were putting a huge total. It will be interesting to see how they will perform against Thunderbolts.
On the other hand they will be slightly disappointed with their bowling performances as their opposition is able to score a good total in a T20 Match. Players like Morkel and Ojha are struggling to bowl at right paths but they will be happy to see Johnston bowling brilliantly for them. Also Sourav and Dockrell are supporting him well but still they have to work on their weakness so that they can assure the victory tonight.
Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium which is located in New Delhi has the capacity of 60000 people and a green deadly pitch. This pitch must help bowlers more instead of batsmen. We have seen some close matches here. Can we expect another thrilling match tonight?

OUT, Caught! C Gayle swings hard and hopes for the best. He has connected well, though, and finds A Cusack to perfection with a flat hit.
Brilliant Knock comes to an end
Another wicket.
2 more wickets please so that no one will get points for CE.
That's absolutely not fair. :FU:

RUN OUT! Mindless running there. First the striker called for the run and then screams NO, and the flat throw hits the stumps at the non-strikers end. Perfection in the throw.
First Blow for the Bolts.
