First topic message reminder :
Two teams lying at the bottom of the CW OD Rankings meet tonight for the 7th game of the CWC January 2013. Both teams are coming from a win and a win tonight will just give them a more confident and stronger position in the points table.
The Hurricanes or the hosts for the CWC January 2013 did a fantastic work in their opening game where they chased a massive 300+ total quite comfortably. Two of their batsmen - Kevin Pietersen and Ryan Tendoeschate hit half centuries in the chase while Chris Gayle broke all records as he smashed a mammoth 198* off just 165 balls that sealed the fate of the match quite easily.
Their bowling can be a slight reason of worry at times like their death bowling was not upto mark in the last game but their middle over bowlers did well to keep the RR going berserk.
All eyes are going to be on this giant tonight. If he can do that on a normal pitch, it is scary to think of what he might do tonight at the Eden Gardens. There will be hardly any room for error when it comes to bowling to this guy and the venue being Eden Gardens makes the room vanish entirely. So bowlers have to bowl well to him and get him out as early as they can.
Another team in good form. The Shadows played their first game at this same venue and posted a big total batting first. In reply, their opponents just lost by 4 runs which shows that this is another team which is having some worries in it's bowling department. But the hero of the game was undoubtedly David Warner who is am ex-HR player. He made an unbeaten 146 runs off 142 balls and paved the path for the other batsmen to go all guns blazing.
The bowling though looks little shaky as already mentioned. They will want their captain to bowl a little precisely and accurately tonight. Else he will find Christopher Gayle waiting at the other end to toink him out of here !
The Pocket Sized dynamite will again be the X factor for the Shadows. If he can keep on going for a few overs, the Hurricanes will be in huge trouble as he can make runs at a very fast rate and he can score big once he gets settled. So knocking over him early will be one of the many things that the Hurricanes will have to take care of tonight !
