this Chennai wicket is brand new its totaly different from older ones. I have noticed a change in Chennai wickets just after CLT20 2010. It was a wicket for spinners but now it supports Fast & swing bowlers more than spinners. The top of the wicket is covered with Green grass which makes the pitch more harder, the tennis ball bounce can be extracted by fast bowlers in this wicket. whereas new rule of using 2 new balls from both ends allow swing bowlers to take wickets & control the batsmen upto 1st 15 overs. This wickets resembles the wickets similar to Karachi & Perth. May be BCCI might have noticed Indian players are not good in playing fast bouncy wickets & might have prepared such wickets to use in Ranji Trophy to give training to young Indian batsmen.

***Salute This Man***

Dhoni came to the crease when India was on 29/5 after 9.4 overs. Evry Indian fans lost their hope after losing top 5 batsmen- Sehwag, Gambhir, Kohli, Yuvaraj & Rohit. Dhoni & Raina stayed on the crease & put up a good perfomance for their team. Raina gone after 33.2 overs & Ashwin came to the crease to support. Together they achieved highest 7th wicket partnership of 125* for India. Dhoni stayed on the crease for 40.2 overs & played a great innings & scored a wonderful century. He was exhausted & was falling after each ball, but still he stayed there to give a good total for his country. He scored 113* of 125 balls & shut the mouth of the haters.

wow even if India lose today, no one can criticize MSD.

Salute This man #Respect. He is still the best captain & ODI cricketer in the world.

Former Indian world cup winning captain Kapil Dev too have played a
similar innings, when India lost 1st 5 wickets for just 17 runs against
Zimbabwe he came to the crease & scored a superb 175. India won that match. Current Indian Coach Duncan Fletcher was the captain of Zimbabwe in that match.
