Warriors land in India

The Warriors have landed in India and are the first team to reach Eden Gardens. Incidentally Eden Gardens used to be their home ground at a time. Hence we can expect a good support for this team in the city of Joy.
The Warriors are all set to play the tournament opener against the Cosmos on January 1. We have a sold out stadium for the opener and can expect a top class performance from either teams.
International players : Virat Kohli (Captain), Mathew Hayden, AB de Villiers (Keeper), Azhar Ali , Abdur Rehman, Vernon Philander, Sunil Narine, Yuvraj Singh, Ricky Ponting, Gautam Gambhir, Stephen Flemming, Aizaz Cheema, Mitchell Starc, Harvir Baidwan
Fantasy players : Yet to be disclosed
One of the surprise changes in the squad is the promotion of young Virat Kohli as the captain of the side. The pressure will be immense on him and it will be interesting to see if he can fit into the shoes of legends like Ricky Ponting. Only time will tell more.
