| Are the Teams Ready?|
First topic message reminder :
Cosmos:This team doesn't need preparations for anything. As they all say, practice makes it perfect. Team Cosmos has already started their preparations for the CWC last Tuesday! With two days to go into the tournament, Team Cosmos has focused mostly in their batting and fielding. The regular bowlers has been in full action these 2 days just bowling. The struggling batsmen and the batsmen performing were divided. 4 Hours of practice were done on batting. Michael Vaughan was required to look into the batsmen while Jason Swift and Sunil Joshi focused on Bowling. Julian Fountain the fielding coach showed up an hour late, but stayed with the players for 2 hours of extra practice on all departments on Wednesday.
Roaring Warriors:This team has looked dangerous in almost all of their departments except fielding. The most focus today was on both bowling and batting. Zaheer Khan their new recurit was not present for practice at Eden Gardens today. RW had a practice match between RW Green and RW Blue divided into 8 players per team. The coaches put their full focus on the experience and tactics of the players. Ajinkya Rahane scored a unbeaten 85, Jesse Ryder had a little cameo of 32, And Dinesh Chandimal and Azhar Ali scored for RW Blue. Sunil Narine and Johan Botha were the pick of the bowlers. Their coach, John Wright has mentioned that the team has not looked that good into preparations for the tournament but hopefully will be 100% before the tournament starts.

Shadows:Shadows are a new recruit to CW. Happened to have not played a big tournament yet, Shadows looks like a under rated team for CWC! Nothing has stopped the effort of this team. Hoping to make the world cup a success, Shadows have decided to start their practice on Sunday. All players have till now showed up in their practice. Their home ground is also well organised to host the first ever match on their ground. All arrangements have been made successfully. Shadows have mostly focused on their bowling and batting. Their batsmen have sweated all day for 12 hours just batting in different places to fit themselves. Shadows bowler Anurag spent a long time with bowling coach Daniel Fleming trying to work on a new type of variation. With everything on top of their work, Shadows look like a team that are the favourites.

Silent Assasins:This team has looked in a whole new avatar this month. Coming off a series win against Dynamos, their confidence level is high. Assasins would love Fardin and Yasin back in form for the CWC. Their bowling has looked in good touch now. The inclusion of Hafeez might strengthen the lineup but the loss of Zaheer Khan is a blow one feels. Silent Assasins have started practicing for the CWC after the day of series win. Assasins would love to have everything shaped up before things get underway. Batting Coach Michael Atherton spent mostly all of last two days focusing on the batting of all. Shaun Tait and Stuart Macgill concentrated on bowling. The fielding of certain players were focused on. A practice match was held on Wednesday afternoon where Martin Guptill and Mahela Jayawardene were amazing and the likes of Sriram and Razzak were superb with the ball.
The main bowlers of SA will like to get things moving nicely in CWC 2012
The Batsmen want their team to be the CHAMPIONS
DOMINATORS :
Preparation is something this team have put their most focus on this week.WD reached their home town Melbourne and started their practice straight away. The bowling of Saad and co. were taken responsibility by Khaled Mahmud. Dominators have posed threat in CS before and would like to do the same. Brenden McCullum was given a whole day of batting to be done with Sanjay. Both players scored massive runs against their bowlers. Sanjay played a marvelous 79 runs innings against the maestro bowling of Ajmal and Saad. Putting everything under consideration, Dominators looks like a good contender for the trophy.
Sanjay was spot on with the bat
Practice Sessions being consulted by coach Trevor Bayliss
Gladiators:
This team is one of the new power house in the CW. They have made a huge mistake of selling Brett Lee. They would like to forget the past and move on. In relation to that, Gladiators have practiced all day and night this week ahead of the starting of CW. The arrangement in the stadium has been magnificent. Their bowlers have improved their skills in the nets. Batsmen have played some time in the nets . They were issued to play a game against SLCK XI which they unfortunately lost by 10 runs. Postives from there was the batting of the youngsters and the bowling of Neeraj. With everything under control, Gladiators can turn into a massive changeup anytime in the CWC
The team hurdles up to discuss strategies
There was some focus on in the batting of Vignesh Nair
