Champions League Twenty20 2011 will begin on Friday, September 23, 2011 in India as per cricket schedule announced. Champions League T20 2011 is an international tournament to be organized by India. Champions League Twenty20 2011 will consist of 23 Twenty20Matches to be hosted by India in Sep-Oct 2011. The Champions League Twenty20 2011 tournament is a part of Future Tour Programs prepared by International Cricket Council (ICC). India will host this tournament, beginning on September 23, 2011. In Champions League Twenty20 2011 bilateral series, first T20 match would be between Royal Challengers Bangalore-Chevrolet Warriors on Sep 23, 2011 at 20:00 local time to be played at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore.
The Champions League T20 2011will be third edition of the Champions League Twenty20 is thought to be played in India between September 23 to October 9, 2011. Champions League Twenty20 is an international T20 cricket tournament jointly administrated by cricket boards of BCCI, CA and CSA. The chairman of the CLT20 isShashank Manohar who is also Chairman of IPL.
Domestic Twenty20 teams of India, Australia, England, South Africa, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and West Indies are confirmed toparticipation in Airtel Champions League Twenty20. Before CLT20 tournament is played, there would be qualifying round between 6 teams, of which 3 will enter in tournament with other 7teams which are already confirmed
