The Hurricanes Pre-Match Press Conference #HRvsRW

   The Hurricanes will play their first match in T20Boom against the Roaring Warriors tomorrow at the Amethyst Arena. It is a battle between two strong teams on paper. Hurricanes skipper Kane Williamson & their star fast bowler Trent Boult were present at the pre match press conference.

Here are the few questions that was raised...

* Regarding Hurricanes preparation for the T20 Boom:

KW- "Its been pretty good. We have players from all around the world & so jelling well as a team would be more important as far as I'm concerned. We have had some interactive sessions, some music sessions. All that have helped in a great deal along with the net sessions. So looking forward to the tournament now"

* On his team & his appointment as Captain:

KW- "Our managers did well in the auctions & so we have got a fantastic team. A good mixture of youth & experience. If u look at Rabada, he's the next big thing in cricket. And who wouldn't want a player like Misbah in the team? His experience & calmness in the middle overs will be crucial for us in this tournament. And we have 3 or 4 players from associate nations as well. I'm very happy with the squad.

I have always enjoyed my captaincy & that's what exactly I will do here too. Will try to lead from the front & hopefully score some big runs"

* About the bowler who is sitting next to him, Trent Boult:

KW- "Well, is there a description needed about this guy? He's a proven talent & currently going through his best phase of his carrier. He will be important for us at the beginning with his control of swing as well as at the end with his deadly yorkers"

* Green pitch at Amethyst Arena:

Trent Boult: "Yeah it will be a fast bowlers paradise. Happy that the bowlers will have the talking in this batsmans game. A chat with Zaheer has helped me on the areas to ball. Looking forward to the match"

* Regarding the playing 11:

KW- "We haven't decided it yet to be honest. We will have a look at the pitch tomorrow and will decide after that. It looks like a green pitch which will suit the fast bowlers. But for a good bowler, i think it really doesn't matter whether it's a green pitch or a normal pitch. Fayaz was exceptional the other day in the green pitch regardless of being a spinner. We have quite a few options in the spin department as well. As I said, we will decide it on who will suit the best. One thing I can tell you is that our approach for this tournament will be to mix caution with aggression.
