Sehwag, Zaheer visits Hurricanes camp

Amethyst Arena

The net sessions of Hurricanes were in full flow today. They started off with a football match which was followed by catching practices, both slip & outfield catching.

KL Rahul & Misbah hit the nets first with the former playing some glorious shorts against fast bowlers Rabada & Haseeh. Misbah spend a quality time in the net practising his drives against Willey & some net bowlers.

Hurricane skipper Kane Williamson too spend some decent time in the nets. He even rolled a few off spinners. Then it was the turn of Sanjay who looked to hit every ball out of the Amethyst Arena, though the Irish left arm spinner Dockrell got better of Sanjay quite a few times.

It came as a pleasant surprise for the players when the cricket legends Virender Sehwag & Zaheer Khan turned up in the Hurricane camp. The players got some valuable tips from the legends with Trent Boult & Haseeh spending a lot of time with Zaheer. Rahul, Kane & Sehwag were having a fun chat while the youngster Mithun was seen too excited after seeing his stars. The legends returned after wishing the Hurricanes all the best for the T20 Boom.

Later on, the team had a music session. It was a perfect day in the office for them as every player seems to be enjoying each other's company & they seems to be jelling together pretty well. The Hurricanes have their 1st match on 17th March against Roaring Warriors who have the tag of favourites in this years T20 Boom, won their 1st match against Hawks by 21 runs.
