NEWS FOR 01.07.17


Dominators completed the signing of their Regional Players


After discussing this for a long time in the team management , They have decided to sign the Legend of the Region, Kumar Sangakkara as one of their Players.


[size=32]The statement on WD's official twitter account read:[/size]
"World Dominators are very pleased to announce that Kumar Sangakkara has signed a new four-month contract for the 2017 season." 

Also the management has searched for a rising talent and went to find this great player who has been great for his domestic team for a time now. The Player is Shanuka Dissanayake. He is not well heard of but hopes to do his best at highest platform after getting this oppourtunity.


Shanuka “I am very excited to get an opportunity in county cricket. It has always been an ambition of mine to play at highest platform in Sri Lanka and I am thankful to World Dominators for this opportunity. I hope I can repay the faith they have shown in me with my performances on the field.”
Arjun“I am really excited to play with Diss at WD. He is a cricketer with incredible ability and is currently one of the bright talents of world cricket. 
Deepak“His unorthodox bowling variations make him a very difficult customer to bat against, and his style of batting is amazing. He will be a brilliant addition to our team.”







WORLD DOMINATORS ANNOUNCMENT OF COACHING STAFF 

Gary Kirsten after a dry two months have decided to resign as the head of coaching staff and instead has been convinced to remain as the team mentor cum batting coach.

Jack Kallis has left the position of batting coach and opted to play as a player for rivals,Targaryens. We are sad to hear that news and some members of the committee were furious at him also.




World Dominators|Media Center Jason_gilispeee
Muttaih Muralitharan has resigned too as bowling coach in order to try opportunities in other field. So We have decided to pick the veteran Jason Gillespie. 



On signing of Jason: 
Saad wrote:“Jason brings a wealth of experience as a player and coach. It’s unfortunate that a world-class coach, Murali, is unable to join us as planned but Jason will be a fine addition to the staff.”

And To fill the position of Head Coach, We have assigned Mahela Jayawerdane. He is coming from a success of IPL win with MI.

They have shown their trust him to lead the team and expect to perform to his best alongside leading the team to new heights.
