After witnessing a superb game in the first Qualifier of the T20 Boom, we are now about to witness the eliminator between two hot rivals : Hawks and Hurricanes. Both teams have had their moments in the past and all they would want now is to win this game and then try and get into the final. Let's know the teams a bit more here.
BLUE KNIGHT HAWKS | THE HURRICANES | |
Star Batsman : Here in this section, we will look into the batsmen from either sides who have created an impact so far. | | Fardin KIBRIA Joe ROOT | | Kevin PIETERSEN Ross TAYLOR |
Star Bowler : Here in this section, we will look into the batsmen from either sides who have created an impact so far. | | Umar GUL Clint MCKAY | | Dale STEYN Morne MORKEL |
Dark Horses : Here in this section, we will look into the players who have great potential and can perform much more than they have so far in the tournament. | Deep Dey has been very good at times and expensive at the others. He coming up against his old enemy Sourav will be a great show to witness. | Sourav Chakraborty is one of the few all-rounders in the team. He is one of those who keeps on entertaining the crowd. Sourav vs Deep a must watch in this game. |
Team News : The latest news and analysis of the two teams to fight tonight in the eliminator. | The Hawks are generally known for their fast paced game and a few moments of brilliance that changes the game in their favour. At the same time, they have been also known for giving away easy chances and hence losing some won games. These are few things they should think on before taking field for this knock-out game. The team that loses tonight will go back home. So it is necessary that they have all ends covered and ready to give their best. They got some quality batsmen and bowlers in their team who have all the experience in this world. Their bits and pieces players need to raise their game tonight and prove their selection. Apart from on-field importance, this match should also be very crucial for their owner who has been recently scrutinized for being too casual and being termed as an "irresponsible" manager and it has also come in news that his players too are't much happy with him. This is going to be a good test for the manager. | On the contrary, we got a team which is not at all settled. The team still doesn't have a settled opening pair. Neither does it have a defined bowling attack. The manager likes things that way in this side it seems. He has also produced some unlikely heroes like with Ross Taylor opening the batting in a couple of games or Venky going through the opposition batting attack. The new manager, Kartik has earned the respect of his players by listening to their needs and helping them to focus on their games. The Hurricanes are yet to win any major tournaments on CW and this might just be their golden chance to take the next leap. They have been a "bit more than average team" for a comparatively long time now and it is time that they start to grow as a team and as an unit. Their manager has got that intensity and quality in him to make his players rise to the occasion. |
Match Venue : Wankhede Stadium | Match at : 20:00 hrs. IST |
The man of the match is : Ross Taylor

Well no fixed total on our mind
but 180 should be match winning
the games on this surface depends on the way you bowl
