Dynamos get new look in NEW YEAR

Farah Khan at the New Year's party of the Dynamos
So finally getting over from the two wins on trot, Dynamos returned to match practice after the two day break. It was a great late night New Year party, thrown to the players in Melbourne by the Dynamos owner, Debroop Roy and was attended by Farah Khan, the guest of honour and the brand ambassador of the team. On the New Year's eve, Farah congratulated the team for their outstanding performances against the Thunderbolts and the Blue Knight Hawks.
Meanwhile, the party was attended by the girlfriends of Debroop, Sarthak and Rish and all were in praise of the brains of their partners that led Dynamos to compelling wins. Finally, Sarthak couldn't held on the excitement of the surprises and finally released the new team jersey which Dynamos would sport from the start of 2014. However, the jersey for the test matches would be released later.
The sponsors for the team jerseys will be Commonweath Bank (T20s) and social networking giant, Twitter (ODs). The jerseys are designed by Fahad Mohammad, who didn't take any money as a token of friendship. The Twenty20 Jersey of the Dynamos

Dynamos Press wrote:Dynamos continue dream run, will Hurricanes be their next victim?MelbourneJanuary 8, 2014Rishabh Tandon will return to the Dynamos side for the last round-robin fixtureIn their 4th round fixture, an away game against World Dominators, Dynamos prevailed winning the game consolidatorily by 6 wickets. Earlier in the day at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi, Dynamos skipper Ryan McLaren had won the toss and didn't have any hesitation in putting World Dominators to bat on a green top. The decision was rewarded as Shapoor Zadran snared Shane Watson with the 4th ball of the match. Vernon Philander struck soon as Raminder tried to scoop the ball but instead it crashed into the middle stumps. This was the beginning of a mega collapse as Dynamos soon reduced Dominators to 6 for 40. However, a 35 run stand between Corey Anderson and Alex Cusack gave Dominators some credability before McLaren and Shami intervened again. McLaren finished with stats of 2-0-9-3 and will be on a hattrick on the first ball he bowls against Hurricanes. The final nail the coffin of Dominators was put as Sarthak blasted a 30 ball 42 before MS Dhoni and David Miller saw off the target of 88 with 43 balls to spare and 6 wickets in hand.Dynamos now face Hurricanes at the MCG and as per the reports, they will be fielding their strongest side before the semis which means that both Rishabh Tandon and Viresh Mathad return to the side after being unavailable for the 3rd and 4th round matches. It will be interesting to see if the think-tank likes to continue with Sarthak, after he showed how dangerous he can be if he plays to his potential. Time will tell us about the line-up against Hurricanes as there is still two days left for the big game. Meanwhile, Dynamos have qualified for the play-offs and will be likely featuring in Qualifier 1.

Dynamos declare their first set of attackers for Qualifier 1

The fantastic five of Dynamos
In the lead-up to Qualifier 1 after defeating Hurricanes by 1 wicket, Dynamos have declared their first set of team today. Sarthak Mondal, the half-manager and analyst of the team, declared that Sachithra Senanayake will be replacing the expensive Debroop Roy in the qualifiers and subsequent matches which means that the team will be fielding a 4-1 spin pace combo in the qualifiers. Zadran, Philander, Shami, McLaren and Senanayake will lead the attack from the front.
Meanwhile, Dynamos are nominating Mohammed Shami and Ryan McLaren for the CWSim Bowler and Captain of the month, respectively. The team is grateful to all the fans for their support and expect the sledging to continue in the upcoming games as well.

Dynamos lift T20 Boom 6, Rishabh and Shami take top honours

Dynamos crushed Dominators by 60 runs to lift their first ever T20 Boom
The evening was windy, the pitch was dry and the top two teams of CWSim were set to face each other for one last time, this time for the title showdown. Dominators, a team that murdered the Dynamos in the 1st qualifier were set to meet them again in the big game. The teams faced each other twice this season and both of them won a match each. After facing some humiliation in the Qualifier 1, Sarthak decided to pass on the baton of managing to the experienced Rishabh as against all odds the team fielded a 4-1 pace-spin combo in the finale.
Put into bat, Dynamos were troubled a bit early before de Kock and Rishabh joined hands to put on a 140 run partnership before a late surge by Mahendra Singh Dhoni took them past 220. Chasing 222, Dominators tried to keep up with the pace but they lost 4 wickets in a space of 5 overs. George Bailey and Corey Anderson fought valiantly but the Dynamos bowling were too good to be fended off the ground consistently and the Dynamos won their first T20 Boom in 6 seasons by 60 runs.

Dynamos are all set to take on Thunderbolts in the first round of the T20 Boom clashes. With the fixtures already out and dates not yet announced, Sarthak thinks that the organisers may start the tournament in late December, i.e, December 30, 2013.
It will be interesting to see how the longtime friends react (Debroop and Ashraf), when the two teams face each other. Thunderbolts have a strong team but the Dynamos have promised their fans to defeat the opposition and start off with flying colours.

Dynamic Camp "VAGA"s Thunderbolts
Rishabh Tandon (Dynamos) celebrating his team's win over Thunderbolts
Melbourne
December 28, 2013
Sarthak Mondal, the thinktank manager of the Dynamos did his bit that he could have done outside the playing field by going for some of the interesting changes that worked in favour of the team. The first change was giving de Kock the keeping gloves ahead of Dhoni. The second being McLaren as the captain of the talented side and the final being the decision to open with a Slogger and a Pinch Hitter.
First the bowlers did their bit on the green top, restricting the famed batting of Thunderbolts to 144 and then it was a "RISH"astic show all over the MCG. Rishabh smacked a 54-ball 91 during his side's batting, that propelled his side to a comprehensive 8-wicket win.
The Dynamos now face The Blue Knight Hawks in their next match to be played at the ANZ Stadium in Sydney on 29th December 2013.

"SHAMI"astic Dynamos outsmart spirited Blue Knight Hawks
Mohammad Shami lit up the stadium with his deadly pace and bounce
Sydney
December 29, 2013
The young brigade of Dynamos played their hearts out on a pitch that had too much for the the bowlers to defend 125. If anything was to go by, it was a day for the fielders and the pacers out there at the ANZ Stadium.
Earlier in the day, Dynamos were sent out to bat by the Blue Knight Hawks who won the toss and the home crowd thought it was game, set and match for them, but Dynamos thinktank had other plans. Late night Sarthak revealed that it was actually ordered to Kohli and Devang to hang out there in the middle as he thought that the team could actually defend anything above 120.
Many thought it was game over for the Dynamos given the batting depth of the Blue Knight Hawks but don't they say, "Its better late than never". Zadran delivered in his second over, chopping Amla who was played on trying to cut away for a single. If this wasn't anything alarming, Zadran delivered again by removing Fardin with back of a length delivery at the stroke of the 6th over.
Against all expectations, Senanyake kept an end tight with some economical bowling before the baton was passed over to Mohammed Shami at the strategic time out. A negative attacking field was employed with an inside out strategy and Shami delivered by picking up 3 wickets in his first over itself. From 58/2, Hawks suddenly found them at 61/5 with all ruined for an early party.
Senanyake ensured that the dynamic plans weren't ruined by bowling out an economical over before it was turn for the death bowlers to finish the job. Root and Deep fought valiantly but it was too late to attack with Shami returning for another spell. With Joe Root plumbed, it was almost game over for the Blue Knight Hawks before Yasin perished to the tension by hitting his own wicket and Dhoni took his 3rd catch at slip to ensure that it was final nail in Blue Knight Hawks' coffin with Deep's catch.
Dynamos finally clinched the match by 5 runs and Shami Ahmed was awarded the player of the match for his fantastic performance. Later in the dressing room, Sarthak awarded Shami with the Order of Dynamos, the first player to get the award.
Post Match Conference of Sarthak Mondal:
Where I am today... I still have my ups and downs, but I take it one day at a time and I just hope that I can be the best that I can possibly be, not only for myself, but also for young people who are out there today and need someone to look up to.
