KFC T20 Blitz : HR vs WD 3rd T20 : 7th May
First topic message reminder :

Time : 10 P.M. IST
Venue : Eden Gardens
Pitch Condition : Dry and Pacy
WOW ! What a series it has been so far. The Dominators thrashed the Hurricanes in the first match and won that by 9 wickets. Chasing again in the second game, the Dominators lost by 40 runs as the Hurricanes got one back. So the series is leveled at one a piece currently and the final T20 tonight will decide the winner of the tournament.
Team Form:
Hurricanes : W | L | L | W | L
Dominators : L | W | L | L | W
Hurricanes :
After a disappointing performance in the first T20, the Hurricanes came back strongly in the second encounter and won that convincingly and level up the series with the final T20 to decide the series. The Hurricanes bowled brilliantly to get the Dominators all put within 19 overs. The same team had won the first game with 9 wickets in hand. So definitely the changes made by the Hurricanes for the 2nd T20 worked in their favor and that might also help the management get the perfect team for this final T20 clash.
Kevin Pietersen : 70(33)
The most consistent batsman for the Hurricanes for the past few months, Kevin Pietersen once again played a masterclass Innings in the 2nd T20 that helped the Hurricanes to level the series. A lot will be expected of him tonight too. He is the ideal one for them to provide a blistering start and also make a good platform for the middle order to utilize.
David Hussey : 42*(29) [1st T20], 18(8) and 1.5-0-3-4(including a hat-trick)[2nd T20]
One of the trump cards of the Hurricanes is finally starting to play a major role for them. He has played the role of a perfect all rounder for them so far and the Hurricanes will want him to continue with this good form. He got a vital hat trick in the last game and made sure that the batsmen did not get the runs in the end. He bowled accurately and used his tricks well. Also with the bat, he has been very impressive at the death.
Dominators :
After a dominating start to the series, the men in grey and yellow faltered in the 2nd game as they lost badly. Now they need to win tonight to get their 2nd position in the T20 rankings. And more importantly, they will not want to lose this series against the Hurricanes. So things are looking quite good for a blistering final.
Mitchell Johnson : 1/34 and 2/27
The Aussie pacer has been the best bowler for the Dominators so far in this series when it comes to bowling tightly and getting important breakthroughs. Once again he will have to get early breakthroughs for them. So far in this series, he has picked up the important wicket of Chris Gayle on both occasions. Hmm. So we got another small rivalry here !
Sachin Tendulkar : 77*(52) and 3(4)
Played a blinder in the first T20 but got out early in the 2nd one. The master needs to bat well tonight and make sure he stays out there for long. Whenever he bats long, Mcca at the other end bats comfortably and plays long innings too. So it is important that he bats well tonight for the Dominators.
