Pepsi T20 Boom - Match No. 2: Cosmos vs Roaring Warriors - April 2, 2013 (Thread 2)
First topic message reminder :
So
we are all set to witness a brilliant battle again but this time in a
T20 format as both of teams are back in action after a great tour. They
both faced each other in OD and Test format in which Roaring Warriors
won both the series by 2-1 and 1-0 respectively. Cosmos had a tough time
with them as they struggled to win some matches but they have a good
chance to win this match as now they can use Eishan Jain while Vernon
Philander and Harvir Baidwan are banned for this match. Roaring Warriors
still looks strong but can they win this match without their stars or
Cosmos will get their revenge after losing OD and Test series?
On
one side we have Cosmos with 12 Int. and 3 F Players while on other
side we have Roaring Warriors with 13 International and 3 F Players.
Cosmos are looking very strong in both department especially their
batting is looking more stronger with likes of Viresh, Watson and Afridi
while they have Dale Steyn, Lasith Malinga and Daniel Vettori who can
create some serious problems for the opposition with some great bowling.
Roaring Warriors are looking strong with their batting lineup as they
have players like Kohli, Deep and Yuvraj but their bowling is not
looking that strong as they dont have Baidwan and Philander for this
match. It will be interesting to see which 5 bowlers they will use for
this match.
So if we talk about the squads, Cosmos have a upper
hand with strong lineup but Roaring Warriors are also not that weak. We
can expect a great fight tonight.
Viresh
vs. Deep. We have seen both of these players fighting against each
other but now this is the platform where they can prove who is more
stronger and better. Both these players are great batsman but Deep is
looking in better form if we consider some recent performances. Viresh's
highest score is 94 in previous tour and it was a test match while Deep
has scored 109 in OD match in last tour. Both players have struggled at
times but this will be an interesting battle between these 2 F Players
for sure.
A
beautiful stadium with a capacity of 60000 and a dry pitch. We can
expect some raining sixes tonight as this pitch will be a nightmare for
bowlers. Batsmen will give no chance to bowlers and they would love to
send some balls to the fans.
So only few hours left for this
match. We cant predict which team will win as both teams are looking
good. It is always a great battle between these two teams but which team
will stand tall after this match?
