Pepsi T20 Boom - Grand Finale: Cosmos vs Hurricanes - April 28, 2013
First topic message reminder :
So here we are for the final match of T20 Boom and we have 2 best teams of Cricket World who will face each other to be crowned as new T20 Boom Champions. On one side we have Cosmos who knocked the hosts in Semis while we have Hurricanes who were successful to beat Defending Champions World Dominators quite comfortabley. This is for the first time Hurricanes are in Finale. Can they beat the Cosmos and become the new T20 Boom Champions or will Cosmos bring sorrow for Hurricanes and win yet another big tournament?
Cosmos were able to move into Finals yet again after defeating Thunder Strikers in semi finals by just 12 runs. They will be quite happy with their batting but still they have to do many changes in their lineup especially in their middle order but after buying some players from Thunder Strikers, their middle order is also looking really dangerous. Players like Viresh, Hussey, Dhoni and Watto will try their best to create problems for Hurricanes' bowlers on this dry pitch.
Cosmos has the brilliant bowling lineup. They are economical and at times very dangerous but this pitch will rarely support their bowlers as Hurricanes have dangerous sloggers in their lineup. If they get some quick wickets, they can definitely create some pressure on Hurricanes. Bowlers like Steyn, Vettori and Broad can do it for Cosmos.
Can they win another big tournament tonight?
Hurricanes are in best form as they move to finale after crushing Dominators in Semi Finals. Hurricanes have performed quite well in this T20 Boom but still they have to work on their weaknesses. They always struggle to score low totals. They must save their wickets when required. With new players like Rishabh and Shakib joining their side, can they make some difference?
Hurricanes have the best bowling unit and now they got another spin wizard Shakib al Hasan who was so good in Semi Finals. He was the one who got all wickets against Cosmos for Thunder Strikers while he got 2 wickets in last match as well. Also other bowlers are performing brilliantly especially Sourav and Chicken Boy Trent Johnston.
With their deadly bowling lineup, can they create some problems for Cosmos and win their first major title?
