Pepsi T20 Boom - Match No. 9: Cosmos vs Hurricanes - April 9, 2013
First topic message reminder :
vs.
Both teams have won their first 2 matches and both teams are looking favourite to move to semis. Both teams are in impressive form. It will be very interesting to see which team will win their 3rd match and which team will lose their first match but Cosmos will face a big problem as their main weapon, Watson is banned for 2 matches. On the other hand Hurricanes would love to take the advantage.
After winning both of their matches, Cosmos are looking more strong and better but they will face a big problem as Watson will miss this match because of Warning. Their batsmen are looking in impressive form especially Michael Hussey, Viresh and even Smith who plays a big role as Finisher. It will be interesting to see which player will open now.
Cosmos has the brilliant bowling lineup. They are economical and at times very dangerous as well. They would love to create some problems for Hurricanes but they have to bowl well against players like Pietersen, Gayle and Hughes. They are facing just 1 problem ie. Malinga is not economical these days but he would love to perform well tonight and help his team.
Hurricanes are in best form as they won 2 crucial matches and they are leading the points table with huge NRR. Their batting is too hot to handle and all credit goes to Hughes, Gayle and Pietersen as they are playing some crucial knocks in almost every match. Even Taylor is supporting them well at last. They would love to score aggressively and win this match with no problem.
And what a bowling performance by Hurricanes yet again. They were so destructive especially Johnston who got 4 big wickets against Roaring Warriors while other bowlers also supported him well. They are looking one of the strongest team if we talk about their bowling. If they continue to bowl like this, then we can expect some low score by Cosmos who will miss Watson tonight.
