Pepsi T20 Boom - Match No. 7: Hurricanes vs Roaring Warriors - April 7, 2013
First topic message reminder :
So finally we are all set for El Classico as Roaring Warriors will face Hurricanes for crucial 5 points in group standings. On one side we have Roaring Warriors who lost the first match badly against Cosmos while on the other side we have Hurricanes who have just defeated Thunderbolts. It will be an interesting battle between Deep and Sourav tonight. Also Sourav will face his previous team who made him hero of Hurricanes.
Roaring Warriors will be slightly disappointed with their start as they lost their first match against Cosmos by 40 runs. Their batting was horrible as only Eoin Morgan scored 42 for their team. Rest every batsman was struggling against Cosmos. They have to do some serious changes in their lineup if they want to win this match.
Their bowling was also not that impressive against Cosmos as their bowlers were leaking runs except Cheema who was economical as well as wicket taker. They are missing their main bowlers Philander and Baidwan who are banned for 2 matches. They have to find some solutions and have to work on them so that they can bounce back and win against Hurricanes.
Hurricanes started their T20 Boom campaign brilliantly after defeating Thunderbolts by 55 runs on 3rd of April. Their batting was too hot to handle and all credit goes to Hughes and Gayle who scored brilliant fifties and helped their team to give a huge target on a green pitch. Rest other batsmen were struggling so they have to work on this so that they can score a big total yet again.
And what a bowling performance by Hurricanes against Thunderbolts. They were so destructive especially Sourav who got 5 wickets by giving just 22 runs while other bowlers also supported him well. They are looking one of the strongest team if we talk about their bowling. If they continue to bowl like this, then we can expect some low score by Roaring Warriors yet again.
