Oye,woh mujhe bhi pata hai bt he is a physician till he completes his phd! Net pe search kar ke dekh le..You may be a mathematician bt u cant beat me in these :O
Medical pass-outs these days use Dr. before their name even if they havent got a phd,that is totally wrong. They are unaware of the fact that they are physicians are passing out of Med college. They can be called doctor but legally they cant use Dr. before their name. Got it??

first of all...thr is no "phd" in my line....neither we have to earn a phd degree to get tht affix....
medical students finishin M.B.B.S takes oath n get registered medical council of india number which designates them as Doctors....with rank as residential doctors....(This rank improves over the course of time as he completes each level of higher education). So after finishin MBBS we have every rite to treat patients n also write Dr. to our name... :O

after tht one has to take up post graduation to enter a more specific field of practice since medical is a vast line...primarily divided between
A. CLINICAL
1.medicine
2.surgery
B. PARACLINIAL
C. NON-CLINICAL

after completing post graduation doctors again go for super-speciality of tht PG degree....

Apart frm this there several other degrees n fellowship tht doctors do over the course of their life to increase their weightage of their CV.....

SO KINDLY PLS DONT SPREAD WRONG INFO LIKE THIS....U MUST BE CLEAR FRM UR END BEFORE U CAN CONVEY SUCH INFORMATION.....
