Mccullum lightens up CWSim and T20 Boom
First topic message reminder :
Things started off slowly and then they went out of control. Such were the scenes at The SCG where Mccullum and Tendulkar arrived there arrival in this new era with a 10 wicket win for Dominators vs Shadows.
It was all Mccullum show after the bowlers restricted the Shadows to a meager 126. Mccullum made 78 off 56 balls and stayed not out as Dominators surged to an easy win.
He hit 7 4s and 5 6s in a breathtaking knock. The Shadows could just wait and watch.
Dominators looked like a strong unit after this performance and more will be expected of them in their upcoming games. Meanwhile Shadows need to forget this and come harder next time.

Mccullum and Sachin once again destructive
13th November,2012 , The Lords : Dominators's captain Arjun Ramesh doesn't think his side is over-dependent on Brendon Mccullum. Who'd be able to tell? Mccullum has hardly given any of his team-mates a chance so far in this tournament, and that continued in Dominators's match vs Warriors as they crushed Warriors by nine wickets at The Lords. To be fair, Sachin Tendulkar was also outstanding and Saeed Ajmal played a key role with the ball. But Mccullum was again the stand-out performer, as he has been in all of Dominators's matches so far.
Chasing 168, the Dominatorsns reached their target with 46 balls to spare. Each of the bowlers were monstered by Mccullum and Sachin. Philander and Narine picked up the only wickets.
Mccullum had made 64 from 31 deliveries with 5 fours and 2 sixes. He cleared the boundary straight down the ground, over midwicket and over square leg. A pair of enormous consecutive sixes pulled over midwicket off Philander showed Mccullum's power, but also highlighted Warriors's poor bowling.
In slightly slippery conditions the spinners also failed to have any impact and were routinely dispatched by both Mccullum and Sachin, whose big partnership was their second century stand in a T20 this month. Sachin muscled three sixes of his own, including two in a row off Starc, whose 4 overs cost 49 runs. Rare though it may be, Sachin was at his attacking best.
It will be interesting to see how both teams do in the upcoming games.

Dravid's 100 goes in-vain as Hawks win a humdinger
13th November,2012 , Adelaide Oval : On an evening that simply beggared belief, Hawks won against Shadows in an incredible game of cricket in Adelaide. Sehwag was Hawks's inspiration, producing an extraordinary 55 from 38 balls, as Hawks threatened the unthinkable, and set off in full pursuit of Shadows's seemingly unobtainable total of 191 - a score that had been made possible by a brilliant 102* from Rahul Dravid.
Such was the clarity of Sehwag's strokeplay and the passivity of Shadows's attack, Hawks were cruising towards an extraordinary triumph. However a late intervention, sparked by a reverse-swinging Ryan Harris, left them clawing for breath as a silenced away fan group rediscovered its roar, and when the wickets kept tumbling, there seemed no way back into the contest. However, a ballsy volley of sixes from Hawks's lower order hauled them back from the brink, and with two runs needed and one wicket in hand, M Bukhari toinked Anurag Choudhary in the stands to register an epic win.
The breathless game of cricket was entirely in keeping with a contest that twisted and turned like an insomniac in a mosquito-pit. From the first over of the match, through the sumptuous strokeplay of first Dravid and later Sehwag, and on through a pair of batting collapses - one apiece for the lower order of both teams - there was scarcely a moment in which normal service was permitted.
