1.Cosmos has been assigned 2600 Points at Random.

2.Now 2nd best Team Dominators have a Huge difference in Rating Points with Cosmos. So Dominators will get 12 times less than the difference between Rating Points of Dominators and Cosmos than Cosmos Points.

So World Dominators gets 2600-(41*12) = 2108

3.Since Teams after Dominators (including Dominators) has Ratings closely spaced, so Teams after Dominators will get 10 times less than the difference in Rating Points of 2 Consecutive Teams in Previous Rankings than the Higher Ranked Team in Previous Ranking.

By this Method,

Roaring Warriors gets 2108-(10*10) = 2008 Points

Hurricanes gets 2008-(7*10) = 1938 Points

Thunderbolts gets 1938-(5*10) = 1888 Points

The Blue Knight Hawks gets 1888-(4*10) = 1848 Points

Shadows gets 1848-(4*10) = 1808 Points

Thunder Strikers gets 1808-(2*10) = 1788 Points

Now Rating Points of Team (RP) = (Overall Points/20)

Hence,RP of Respective Teams :

Cosmos - 130

World Dominators - 105

Roaring Warriors - 100

Hurricanes - 97

Thunderbolts - 94

The Blue Knight Hawks - 92

Shadows - 90

Method used to calculate Rankings Since the beginning of CWC :
Same Method For T20 and OD
Teams to get Points for Win or Loss or Tie :
Case 1 :
If the gap between the RP of the 2 teams before the start of the match is fewer than 40 points, then:

a.The winner scores 50 points more than the opponent's RP.

b.The loser scores 50 points fewer than the opponent's RP.

c.Each team in a tie scores the opponent's RP.

Case 2 :
If the gap between the RP of the two teams before the start of the match is more than or equal to 40 points, then :

a.The winner, if it is the stronger team, scores 10 points more than its own RP.

b.The winner, if it is the weaker team, scores 90 points more than its RP.

c.The loser, if it is the stronger team, scores 90 points fewer than its RP.

d.The loser, if it is the weaker team, scores 10 points fewer than its own RP.

e.The stronger team in a tie scores 40 points fewer than its own RP.

f.The weaker team in a tie scores 40 points more than its own RP.

Note: If a Team has 0 OP,then if that team loose its next match,its OP will be 0 only.

Teams to get Additional Points for the Margin of Win or Loss or Tie :

Points for Winning Team (Stronger Team) = Winning Run Margin Points - |Rating Point Difference of 2 Teams|

Points for Winning Team (Weaker Team) = Winning Run Margin Points + |Rating Point Difference of 2 Teams|

Points for Loosing Team (Stronger Team) = (30 - Loosing Run Margin Points - |Rating Point Difference of 2 Teams|)/2

Points for Loosing Team (Weaker Team) = (30 - Loosing Run Margin Points + |Rating Point Difference of 2 Teams|)/2

Note : In case a Strong team get more LP(M) on loosing than Weaker team's WP(M) then LP(M) will be scaled down to WP(M).

Teams to get Bonus Points for the Tournament/Series Win or Loss :

1.The team who wins a minor or major competition will get Bonus Points.

2.The Semi Finalist and Runner Up of ONLY Major Competiton will get Bonus Points.

3.The Loser of Bilateral series or Runner-Up of Multi-Team Minor competition will get 0 Points as Bonus.

4.Calculation of Bonus Points :
For Major Tournament
i) Team X gets [Sum of the Rating Points against whom X Won + (Sum of the Rating Points against whom X Lost/2)] / [No. of Matches Played in the Competition excluding Semi Final] POINTS
where X is Losing Semi Finalist

ii) Team X gets [Sum of the Rating Points against whom X Won + (Sum of the Rating Points against whom X Lost/2)] / [No. of Matches Played in the Competition excluding Final] POINTS
where X is Losing Runner Up

iii) Team X gets [Sum of the Rating Points against whom X Won + (Sum of the Rating Points against whom X Lost/2)] / [No. of Matches Played in the Competition] POINTS
where X is Winner of the Competition

For Minor Tournament
i) Team X gets {[Sum of the Rating Points against whom X Won + (Sum of the Rating Points against whom X Lost/2)] / [No. of Matches Played in the Competition]}/1.5 POINTS
where X is Winner of the Competition

Points earned for a Match by the above procedure will added to the Total Points upto Previous Match to obtain new Total Points.

Rating Points = Total Points / (20 + No.of Matches - D)

Note:
Stronger team means the team with higher RP.
Weaker team means the team with lower RP.

Calculation of win or loss margin points:

1. If win or loss margin is an even number, Split it into 2 equal parts say N and N.
Then (N + 2N) is the points for win or loss margin.

2. If win or loss margin is an odd number, Split it into 2 parts, 1 even part say N and 1 odd part say M such that M > N.
Then (M + 2N) is the points for win or loss margin.

After a Team Plays its 20th T20, they will loose the points earned in the 1st Match they played.

After this, every 3rd Match, the team will loose the points they earned in their 2nd Match, 3rd Match and so on in the following Manner:

If the Points earned in a Match under consideration was won or lost by that team, it will loose all the points earned in that match.
