Guyz,

We have 20 overs cricket and 50 overs cricket for our CW CricSim events.
CW wants to add a longer version of the game.

So if u have any suggestions that u want to see as a format in CricSim, plz post here..

Who knows ur idea might be picked ...

Suggestion by Cricdude and me is

to have 70 overs cricket that will go on for 4 days

1st team 1st innings on Day - 1 of 70 overs
2nd team 1st innings on Day - 2 of 70 overs

1st team 2nd innings on Day - 3 of 70 overs
2nd team 2nd innings on Day - 4 of 70 overs

Team with more runs at end of 4 days wins. Team that wins match gets 2 points .
Team that got more runs after 1st innings gets 1 point .

well u can use all the format in a tour of 2 teams...

as u hv 5 teams so far in this cris sim first chapter u cn do one thg...the 2 teams goin for playoff cn get sm rest..

first use the rest of the 3 teams n play a triseries tournament with the 50 ovrs format.

after the triseries the winner of cric sim season 1 n the new team of yaisn can go for a tour
in this tour keep one 70 ovrs match, 3 odi match n 1 t20 match

after this if u want u can hv a test championship (if u like to conduct one since it will big a huge event)

also u can again bring back season 2 of t20 boom...

u can also make a mini world cup of 50 ovrs...6 teams divided into 2 grps of 3 teams each
then a round robin stand with the top 2 teams of each league followed by semifinal n final...
this can be a great event in cric sim...

i would like to suggest one more thg..pls chg the name "t20 boom" to "CRICKET WORLD PREMIER LEAGUE (CWPL)" it sounds more catchy n nice..Smile

well i hope these ideas will be a bit helpful...

But i wonder what does he mean by "70 over it is" like will it be played as a test championship or series between teams?and Also i like baptu's idea about the min world cup.
