Kings XI Punjab have signed up Gursheen Singh is the recently opened Transfer Window. With the bowling, proving to be a bit weak, domestic pacer Gursheen Singh proved to be the talent KXIP were looking for. With the pace and bounce and the variations he has under his belt, Gursheen Sings looks to be the pacer to fool the batsmen. He would be hoped to provide KXIP with important breakthrough's and win it for us! Lets hope for the best to happen.


Gursheen Singh : I am very adament to be playing for KXIP this season. They are a great team filled with great players. I would be hoping to work alongside the likes of Morkel and Nathan. With the potential they have, I would be looking to help them clinch the title for us!


Fardin Kibria: Our scout, "Khaled Mashud" was on a tour to England and parts of India and he thought this was a talent we could consider signing up. We wasted no time in signing him up after his 7 wicket haul against Baroda yesterday. Lets hope he provides us with great achivement

The New Owners have arrived! The owners of KXIP are Pitbull and Preity Zinta. The duo would like to take the team to a great new level. In an evening conference yesterday, Fardin Kibria(Head of Management) have announced them as owners. The duo have agreed to spend an amount of $59.87 Million for the team's benefit. KXIP will be delighted to have them present during the games.



Pitbull: Cricket is my generation sport. I have never played it. A phone call to my agent Andrew was raised, as Fardin queried me to be Co-Owner of the KXIP Management. My dad called later to tell me this was a great oppurtunity to continue the family sport. So wasting no time, the jumped to the chance and here I am in Mohali!

The Kings XI Punjab Team Management has named Nasir Hossain as the captain for this season. Considering the current performance by this young lad, this prospect will be a great leader for the team. On a press conference held today morning, Nasir stated that, "It's a great oppurtunity I have. I got the potential and responsibilty to take my team to a whole new level. My No.1 mission at this moment is to win the group stage matches and then move on from there. We hope to have a great tournament." This was also a surprising decision for some as he was considered over the likes of Vaughan and Kallis.
