Back After 7 days of Exile

Well Finally I am here after 8 days of torture.
I had seen people undergoing surgery on TV serials and Movies, where Doctors so serious in the the operation theatre, patient in unconsciousness state.
This was my 3rd surgery since birth, I was a kid when I underwent 1st surgery,so remember nothing, 2nd surgery was done in 2009, I was unconscious, so again remember nothing. But this time, I remember everything in the operation theatre because I was in full consciousness when my spine was being repaired.This was the 1st instance I saw such a case.
Here it is how it began.
It was bright, sunny and hot monday afternoon in Mira Road,Mumbai. My surgery was scheduled at 2 PM & exact at 2 PM, I was taken in the Operation theatre. The lady anaesthesian marked my back(region of surgery) with chemical solution and then Put a injection conatining anaesthetic which made my body below the heart completely senseless.I felt like someone had cut me and thought I will now go unconsciousness, but it turned to be fluke, I was still conscious. I was thinking whats going on, will the doctors cut my back in consciousness, I was afraid.Later the female doctor said me to check whether I can feel any senses in various parts of the body by poking with a some pointed object. Then I realised that it is this way. I was relieved.
They then made me unclothed, OMG, I was so embarrased. I was wondering, why I am alive still!!!!!!!
Then they started their surgery process. In 2 hrs 15 minutes of surgery, I saw male doctors chit chatting with each other related to some other operations, Female doctor was quite for sometime and also disturbed because she had 3 other opeartions on the same day & she was getting late, later she also started dealing with her cell phone.
I had been kept without food and water for 7 hrs +, I asked a foolish question whether I can have some water please, My tongue was drying up. Ofcourse I knew that no water will be given during operation, but still couldnt control my thirst in this hot mumbai climate.
The doctors kept on chit chatting about something else, with little talking about my surgery. They repaired my spine, stitched my back without any problem.
The way the surgery was going, I thought carrying out surgery is so easy task for these specialise surgeons.
Finally the surgery ended and after that Story is painful, better not to describe.
Now You will ask How am I????
Ans: Surgery done successfully, spine repaired to prevent further damage.
But only, one problem couldnt be avoided that is the neurons of my right leg which were damaged before the surgery is still damaged, Damaged neurons cannot be repaired as predicted earlier by me.(A fact I was thought in my 12th std).
Now I don't know what trouble those damaged neurons will give in future, how much trouble, will it give or not!!!!!!Absolute No Idea
Later they took all their knifes,scissors and etc etc.

haha wonderful descripition... usually these newer kinds of anaesthesia ar given whr the patient is awake n the surgery is better in tht way since u cn constantly talk to the patient...in this way the blood pressure n pulse rate ar maintained in a better way..also the reason ur tongue got dried up is not becoz of the humid temp but becoz of the anaethesia tht was given to u ...its a long explanation regardin why such a thing happens n tht is called pharmacology...
anyways its grt to hr tht the procedure went well n good...
recovery will tk smtm...but am optimistic abt the neuron thing u said in ur right leg..yeah they cant regenerate ...wats is formed at the time of birth tht it...it cn only degenerate n hence the reasons of diseases like parkinsonism or alzeihmers n others ....
REMEMBER THR AR NO NEURONS IN THE LEG... NEURONS ARE PART OF CENTRAL N PERIPHERAL NERVOUS SYSTEM....
