Again King haydos blazed in a quick 47 and Phil jacques also continued to dominate indian bowlers but australia then lost hayden and ponting in quick time and jacques also leaved early but then the middle order came to rescue and posted a total of 351-7 Dec australia's lead was 498



Indian batsman continued there bad form and was bundled out for 161 in there 2nd innings total bad show by indian batsman and failed to score against lee and co..

the result came as australia won the first game and Hayden was the player of the match

2ND test began Australia won the toss and decided to Bat first India started of things brilliantly with RP singh dismissing Phil Jacques in the 3rd over of the match Hayden also departed soon then Hussey and ponting built a 92 run patnership but soon ponting and Hussey back to back departed then it was Andrew symonds who scored a brilliant 162* and some crucial runs by the Australian tail helped Austraila post a total of 463 RP singh and Kumble was the pick of indian bowlers with 4 wickets each



India came to bat and lost Wasim Jaffer early but the big 4 of india helped them with dravid scoring 53 laxman 109 SRT 154* ganguly 67 then Yuvraj and Dhoni failed to score but Harbhajan came and scored a crucial 63 and indians posted a total of 532 runs with a lead of 69 runs B.lee was the pick of the bowlers for Australia with 5-119 India were on the lead of 69 before australians came out to bat




Australia started the second innings even better than the first one they
dominated the Indian In experienced Bowlers Hayden again thrashed the
indian bowlers with his 123 where as jacques played a supporting role with his 42 ponting failed to score again but hussey steadied the ship for aussies with his 145* and Symonds also fired 61 runs and helped australia to post 401/7 in there second innings and a target of 332 runs were set by Australia



In the second innings indian looked completely different with the bat where as jaffer failed again every other batsman gifted the wickets to australians India were all out for 210 and australia won by 122 athe player of the match was A symonds

India won the toss and elected to bat first
India started well with a 57 runs partnership between both openers but lost both the openers in quick succession from 56-0 india where 59/2 Lee and johnson got jaffer and sehwag respectively Then rahul dravid and SRT formed a good partnership where dravid (93) missed his 100 sachin was dismissed at 71 ganguly also walked back soon after SRT then Dravid was also bored at the center and walked back india were reduced to 278-5 and there innings ended to 330-10 Johnson gets 4 lee gets 3 and clark gets 2 wickets for australia

With no Hayden australian top order collapsed early Irfan pathan back in the side was a boost to the indian bowling lineup at one stage australia were 61-5 at one stage it was looking like australia will follow on but then came symonds and gilly . Symonds and gilchrist fought back hard for australia both scored crucial half centuries and took australia to total of 212-10 where RP singh took 4 wickets Pathan ishant and kumble bagged 2 each for them




India with a 118 runs Lead came out to bat and as usual lost out of form jaffer early but then surprised everyone by sending pathan at no.3 amd it worked both pathan and sehwag scored good 40's and rescued india from a early collapse but soon after Sehwag dravid also failed to score then next to walk back was SRT Ganguly and Pathan but laxman and dhoni helped india to post a total of 294-10 and a target of 413 runs was setted by indian batsman lee and clark was again in the wickets corner


After great show with the bat Irfan pathan ripped through the defense of Rogers and Jacques and got two early blows for India pomting hussey scored 40's and brought back australia where clarke made brilliant 81 and tail ender johnson also score 50* Indians won the 3rd test match by 72 runs and player of the match was I pathan

Australia just needed a draw to win the series where as india can only hope to win and save the series defeat india won the toss and comes to bat

Irfan pathan opening with sehwag replacing wasim jaffer in the team surprised everyone but he failed to score with the bat but sehwag batted well then it was tendulkar who scored 205 ball 153 runs where others failed to score after laxman's 50 Kumble and harbhajan sing had some other plans both scored crucial 50's kumble made 87 and harbhajan scored 63 helped india to score 526-10 with johnson taking 4 and lee taking 3 wickets




Hayden ponting and clarke scored brilliant centuries in reply of india's 526 hayden's comeback was a boost to austrlaia and ponting founded his lost form and scored a 140 while hayden and clarke continued there best and scored 103 and 118 respectively Ishant and irfan scalped three wickets each for indians




The match ended in a draw with Sehwag saving india's ship with a magnificent 151 but surprisingly Tendulkar got the Man of the match award and brett lee was the Man of the series

Best series i watchd is me 2003 series..GANGULY HEROICS IN 1ST TEST..DRAVID-LAXMAN HEROICS IN 2ND AND VIRU'S FIRING IN THE 3RD(eventhoug we lost) and SACHN DOUBLE TON AT 4TH..WAT A SERIES!
