Australia's wicketkeeper, Brad Haddin
has confirmed his retirement from Twenty20 internationals, a move he
hopes will allow him to focus more on Test and ODI cricket. Haddin, who
turns 34 next month, has followed the lead of Ricky Ponting and Michael
Clarke

But Haddin can now too hit the ball a long distance. Aus would become a much weaker team than before without him

Current Australian 20-20 team is worse than an big bash team.
Even a big bash team will beat them.
its better he has gone.he performed pathetically in srilanka,bangaldesh,and world
cup.He is already 34.If he is drop now,his career will over for ever

Gilly retired himself.Symonds himself responsible for what happend in 2009 20-20 world cup. The Australian board needs results thats why they have been able to do things which others are yet to achieve

Hayden was forced.gilly himself admitted its the right tie to leave before i am forced to leave.
He later revealed that he chose to retire after dropping Laxman during the first innings of 4th test and realising that he had lost his "competitive edge.
