The International Cricket Council (ICC) will hold a meeting in the aftermath of the to look into the safety and security of all the participating teams in the Champions Trophy which begins next week.
London, Birmingham and Cardiff are the three venues which will host Champions Trophy matches in England from June 1-18.

Prime Minister Theresa May said the incident was being treated as a terrorist attack. If confirmed, it would be the deadliest militant assault in Britain since four British Muslims killed 52 people in suicide bombings on London's transport system in July 2005.
"The ICC will hold a meeting later in the day to address the issue in the wake of the terror attack in Manchester," a top ICC official told India Today. ( )
"The ICC is concerned with what has happened in Manchester and will have a conference call later in the day with stakeholders joining from various places. How and what happens will be conveyed to all the participating teams," the official said.
The Champions Trophy was last held in 2013, also in England. India are the defending champions and will open their campaign this year against Pakistan on June 4 at Edgbaston before taking on Sri Lanka on June 8 and South Africa on June 11 at the Kennington Oval in London.

Following the terror attack at the Manchester Arena in England, the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Tuesday said that it will review the security for the upcoming Champions Trophy and the Women's World Cup in the England and Wales. The Champions Trophy begins next week from June 01 while Women s World Cup starts from June 24.

The blast took place during a pop concert by US star Ariana Grande in the Manchester City in the United Kingdom. According to latest reports, the death toll has risen to 22 and at least 50 others are injured.
