Benetton Racing Team: Mithun K Nambiar | Total Points: 30
Drivers: Gergely Hegyes (Q:P11 | R:P2) & Joshua Evans (Q:P28 | R:P4)
It was a dream weekend for Benetton Racing who are currently leading the Constructors Championship and all credit goes to their incredible pace during the race. After compromising their Qualifying run by opting for Soft and Medium tyres, they were able to recover incredibly during the race to get 30 points from the race. Hegyes was able to gain 9 positions while Evans gained 24 positions during the race which is so tough on a track like Melbourne. Hegyes was the fastest man. Considering how tough their practice session was because these drivers didn't take part in the practice, their achievements were something which will be remembered for very long time. Drivers: Gergely Hegyes (Q:P11 | R:P2) & Joshua Evans (Q:P28 | R:P4)
Lotus Renault: Haseeh P P | Total Points: 26
Drivers: Paweł Wyszkowski (Q:P8 | R:P1) & Carmen Jordá (Q:P22 | R:P10)
From being the slowest car in Practice session to becoming the fastest cars where it all matters, it was a race which every Lotus fan will remember. Starting their race on Soft tyres was a very smart call and it helped them strategy wise to go for more laps on their tyres and thus that was enough for Paweł Wyszkowski to become the first driver to win the first race of this season. It was a recovery drive for Carmen Jordá who opted for Medium tyres in Qualifying because of which she had to lots of overtaking but it definitely paid off as she was the final point scorer. Lotus have raised lot of eyebrows after that race and surely they will be a team to watch out for in future races.Drivers: Paweł Wyszkowski (Q:P8 | R:P1) & Carmen Jordá (Q:P22 | R:P10)
Williams Martini Racing: Ashraf Chohan | Total Points: 23
Drivers: Thomas Moss (Q:P18 | R:P3) & Berta Jimenez (Q:P15 | R:P6)
Williams Martini Racing were just another team who had a compromised qualifying session only to do wonders in Race as Moss was the one who gained 15 positions in the race to become the final driver on podium while Jimenez gained 9 positions which helped her in finishing 6th. Williams clearly took the advantage of the madness which was going on during the race by sticking to their race strategy and not changing it. It will be interesting to see whether they will go for this strategy more times now.Drivers: Thomas Moss (Q:P18 | R:P3) & Berta Jimenez (Q:P15 | R:P6)
Renault Racing: Sanjay P Nambiar | Total Points: 12
Drivers: Lucia Boffo (Q:P17 | R:P5) & Adriana Diaz (Q:P20 | R:P9)
What Renault said in the beginning of the season, they delivered it. Team of female drivers surely didn't disappoint anyone in their first races as both drivers managed to secure those crucial 12 points after compromising their Qualifying tyre choice. Lucia and Adriana both were on hunt in Melbourne but will the hunt continue in Malaysia as well?Drivers: Lucia Boffo (Q:P17 | R:P5) & Adriana Diaz (Q:P20 | R:P9)
Brawn GP: Fahad Mohammad | Total Points: 6
Drivers: Michael Jones (Q:P26 | R:P11) & Olivia Taylor (Q:P29 | R:P7)
After staying quite for the whole time before the race, Brawn GP went all out attack when the lights go green and they gained positions silently and went on to bag those crucial 6 points when everyone was tumbling around. Olivia Taylor was the driver with 2nd most positions gained (22 positions) which deserves lots of credit while Jones was just shy of a point as he finished P11. Definitely it will be interesting to see how they will progress in next races. Drivers: Michael Jones (Q:P26 | R:P11) & Olivia Taylor (Q:P29 | R:P7)
Haas Ferrari: Yash Bhavsar | Total Points: 4
Drivers: Yash Bhavsar (Q:P21 | R:P12) & Ellie Davis (Q:P25 | R:P8)
Haas Ferrari was the only team to score points from the ones our experts thought. They were just another team who decided to opt for Medium tyres and gained all positions during the race. At one stage they were fighting for the lead but because their tyres almost died, they had to pit at later stage but then also, Ellie Davis managed to secure 4 points for them. On the other hand, Yash gained 9 positions but sadly he couldn't shoot himself to Top 10. Drivers: Yash Bhavsar (Q:P21 | R:P12) & Ellie Davis (Q:P25 | R:P8)
Sahara Force India: Rishabh Tandon | Total Points: 0
Drivers: Luke Hunt (Q:P5 | R:P15) & Charlie Robinson (Q:P6 | R:P13)
After showing promise in Practice and Qualifying sessions, securing 0 points show how miserable their race was in Melbourne. At one stage both drivers in podium positions but their strategy backfired them so hard that they just couldn't move into points finish which every one felt they will achieve easily. A weekend to forget for them but will the story remain same for whole season or are we going to see improvements in next race? Drivers: Luke Hunt (Q:P5 | R:P15) & Charlie Robinson (Q:P6 | R:P13)
Toyota Racing: Johny S Raj | Total Points: 0
Drivers: Benjamin Thomas (Q:P31 | R:P16) & Lewis Thompson (Q:P30 | R:P17)
Toyota Racing Team didn't come to Melbourne with high expectations and in Qualifying we also saw the same thing as they were the backmarkers but things improved during the race as they gained some crucial positions which have helped them to be at 8th position in the standings for now. Will we see more improvements for them during this race so that they can go past that backmarker title? Drivers: Benjamin Thomas (Q:P31 | R:P16) & Lewis Thompson (Q:P30 | R:P17)

It was a great Practice Session for Jeremy Mercier as he sets the fastest lap of 1:34:208 which is 0.196 faster than anyone else.
Looks like Mercedes have sorted out their problems which they suffered in Australia.

Wiliams also had a brilliant Practice Session as they were 2nd and 3rd. They were seperated by just 0.002 seconds only which means clearly they are not hiding their pace for the race.
