14 March 2001
Miracle Of EDEN GARDEN
if 13th March represented a dark day in Eden's history, 14th surely would go down as one of its red-letter days. It was on this day in 2001 when VVS Laxman and Rahul Dravid scripted a remarkable turnaround to leave the visiting Australian side stunned. Having lost the opening Test in Mumbai and having been made to follow on in the second Test, India's fortunes in the three-match series had gone south. Day 4 of the Kolkata Test started with India at 257/4 in the second innings, still 20 short of Australia's 1st innings score. Laxman and Dravid batted, batted and batted some more. When umpires signalled stumps at the end of the day's play, India had reached 589/4, a lead of 335! Laxman had 275* and Dravid 155*. The duo ended with 281 and 180 respectively before Harbhajan Singh spun a web around the Australians in the second innings to give India a historic win. They went on to win the third Test in Chennai to complete a remarkable turnaround.

Flash Back
IPL Season 1; feels like happened long back if one looked at its then Playing XI
As we approach the 10th season of IPL, Cricketing Sensation goes into a Throwback mode in terms of line ups and even though there were huge money riding on players, it was way different from what we are experiencing today. Cleary, some of the line-ups might make you drop your jaw.
Presenting is the first ever playing XI of the franchises and you will be able to judge the huge transformation of our beloved event.
